Well, I attended Mark on Friday and got installed as IG for the ensuing year. Mentioned to me as I was heading out of the door for the installation of the new WM!

It wasn't my intention to take office in Mark so early, but, hey-ho, don't think I need to learn too much.

Haven't read all 50 pages but just wondering if anyone on here has got high enough to find out that they actually worship the devil, or if they are in still at the 'being duped' stage?
Several of us are on the committee that runs the world... and we know who you are!!!

Gents, I am absolutely loving reading these posts.

I was a member of St Andrews Lodge 25 (1741 if you want to know) but left after a promotion was put upon me that I wans't prepared for.

I do still miss it and would love to go back but have forgotton most of the ceremonies by now.

Anyway, all the best with your careers in the Craft..

Find a Lodge mate! Just because you have been out of it for a bot and probably need to do a little work on remembering is no issue at all. Guessing a London Lodge is no good to you but if it is, happy to meet for a beer and a chat.

I think that the bottom 3 levels of freemasons are just pawns who do what the cult demands, allowing the higher levels to behave in any way that they want. The conflicts of interest that freemasonry creates are huge, I have heard and experienced many incidents where the rule of law was severely compromised. The higher, invitation only, levels where people like Tony Blair reside are a different matter entirely.

I have found a really good source of articles about religion and freemasonry which may answer your question: http://saintsalive.com/resourcelibrary/freemasonry

Here is an article about their god: http://saintsalive.com/resourcelibrary/freemasonry...

And what Christianity thinks of the cult.

- Catholics:
Freemasons have been excommunicated from the Catholic Church by 8 Popes: In 1738 by Clement XII "In Eminenti", the first of 20 bulls against Freemasonry. Pius IX issued 6 bulls attacking Masonry. Leo XIII, in 1884, in "Humanum Genus", and endorsed the view that the Freemasons' "real supreme aim" is "to persecute Christianity with untamed hatred, and they will never rest until they see cast to the ground all religious institutions established by the Pope"... and the last one, John Paul II in 1983... you can not be a Catholic and a Mason!
If you want to be a Mason, you are automatically out of the Catholic Church, excommunicated!... these are the words issued by Cardinal Ratzinger, approved and ordered by John Paul II in Nov. 1983: "The Church's negative judgment in regard to Masonic associations remains unchanged since their principles have always been considered irreconcilable with the doctrine of the Church and therefore membership in them remains forbidden. Catholics who enrol in Masonic associations are in a state of grave sin and may not receive Holy Communion. Local Ecclesiastical authorities do not have the faculty to pronounce a judgment on the nature of Masonic associations which may include a diminution of the above-mentioned judgment".

- Baptist leaders, have referred to it as "an ungodly brotherhood of satanic darkness"; "there is an inherent incompatibility between Masonry and the Christian faith"; "there is a great danger that the Christian Mason may find himself compromising his allegiance to Jesus" (The Baptist Union of Scotland, 1965).

- Lutherans, say "Masonry amounts to idolatry" (Missouri Synod, 1959).

- Presbyterians: "Masonry is a religious institution and as such is definitely anti-Christian (General Assembly, Rochester, 1942).

- The Church of England: "A number of very fundamental reasons to question the compatibility of Freemasonry with Christianity (General Synod, London, 1987... and several members of the committee were Masons!).

- Russian Orthodox Church: "Any Orthodox who joins Masonry losses all the right and privileges of his membership in the Church (Acker, "Strange Altars", pag.60).

- Methodists: "There is a great danger that the Christian who becomes a Freemason will find himself comprising his Christian beliefs. Methodists should not become Masons (General Assembly, London, 1985).

yes

Anyway, we're at Gt Queen st Wednesday for our first meeting since summer break. We've got a second and its for a guy that I seconded to join the lodge. I'm JD, so as long as the candidate has learnt what he has to, I've got a pretty easy day.

Looking forward to good day out in London and a few drink

Got any evidence, and I mean proper evidence, not just what you've heard from a mate who heard it from a mate who read it on an internet forum.

There is no evidence that Tony Blair is, or ever was, a Freemason. Unless you have evidence that proves otherwise?

And of course that website is an unbiased view? Freemasonry is NOT a religion, therefore how can it have a God? I know several vicars who are Freemasons so that kind of blows a lot of those comments out of the water.

It always amazes me how those who are not Freemasons know the most about itrolleyes

Fer summed it up above - that websites view about Freemasonry is borrocks.

Blair freemason: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8deQ2gJ56ds
Of course he is. Once you realise this you realise why he is teflon Tony and why he was such big mates with Bush (another 33 level mason).

Nope he's not - that proves nothing. Bush also is not a Freemason. Tony Blair is also a well known practising catholic, how does that fit with the garbage you posted earlier?

Any chance of the evidence I asked for?

Where does that video definitively show that TB is a Freemason?

It seems to just be a random collection of words and a few odd video clips strung together not really achieving getting any point across.

I can vouch for the fact that George W Bush is a freemason. Blair certainly isn't though.

I'm fascinated at what motivates people to make public pronouncements about things they clearly have no knowledge of to people who are clearly directly involved. The only coherent answer I can find is gross stupidity.

By the way, congrats Fer and all other advancing PH masons. I was due to be elected into the chair last Saturday but have had to stand aside for a third time after having a major op earlier in the year.
