Following on from the Kempston Interface. I give you the 'Currah Microspeech' that gave hoursminutes of fun making it say rude words.

Microspeech also worked with 'Jetman' that NOONE could ever play. It would 'say' &*&*^*&^*&^^&*&^*!! - 'cos that what it sounded like.
We had loads of these as my Dad was mates with the guy who invented it. SO impressed aged 9. IIRC it sounded like Stephen Hawking with a st-t-t-t-tutter.

Oh, and the guy who made it had a Sierra XR4i. A black one which was just the coolest thing in the world ever.

So much nostalgia.... but this gave me more fun than any other single thing in my Childhood.

Super Mario Kart, the only thing ever to acheive perfection:

Probably the most 'playable' computer game ever. Played that more than any other. Mushroom and Cooper were best at the powerslides hehe
Still have my SNES would love to have this again frown

Fantastic thread! As a child born in '86 I remember about 70% of the stuff thats been posted on here! I think 80s and early 90s deffo rocked for kids toys and tv shows!

Trumpton (it was repeated well into the late eighties)

All together now. "Pugh, Pugh, Barney McGrew, Cuthbert, Dibble, Grubb."

I think I need to get out more.
