See my post above - it's for people that lack the intelligence to see it for what it is (nothing) and have a need to do or think something just because other people are. king pointless to me.

A mate of mine decided that he came up with a way to "win" the game - by making me lose without him losing at the same time. He was on holiday, lost the game and wrote a postcard to me which arrived several weeks later, telling me I'd lost the game. Of course I just then sent him a text message to tell him he'd lost again, but I lost first, on that day.
This has definitely been going on far longer than is necessary, I first learned of it in the summer of 1998, aged 13, during France 98 when Beckham got a red card, I was watching and my mate's dad said "That's us lost the game then" - and it started from there.
Still, it provides minimal humour between a small group of me and three other friends I'm still in touch with from back then
