They're docks. There's two of them. A pair of docks, you might say smile

There is a stronger case for not selecting York. While a lovely city to be a student in, and having some very good departments, their rampant expansion and multi campus model has removed a lot of the intimacy that the former York had, particularly impacting the inter-college experience... as I understand it...
Doesn't that apply to pretty much all universities now? Reading reviews it sounds as if most have gone down the massive expansion route. Its a shame because she is looking for somwhere with a smaller more friendly feel, so we have been looking at the college type places.
York certainly has had a huge expansion in accomodation - loads of new blocks been built.

3 operating systems walk into a bar

The first says "I'm Windows. The most popular, everyone likes me and I don't mess about. I'll have a pint of lager."

The second says "I'm Mac OS. I'm the favourite of artists and hipsters, and I could never settle for a boring lager like Windows. Give me your hoppiest artisanal IPA!"

The third says "I'm Linux. I'll have some water, hops, barley and yeast please."

Hmmm. I'm not sure whether or not I have heard this joke before. But it does ring a bell.
