Isn't it strange the cartoonist seems to be banned from FB but pops up every now again before getting banned again?

Yeah it sucks. It’s Rob’s group, but he keeps getting Zucked off. Normally shortly after he goes for the ‘pro life’ nutters.

There are a handful of C&H cartoons that really do cross the line, but in the main they're either plain dark humour, or piss-taking out of groups that are deserving of such treatment.

Shame FB has become the thought police...gone from one extreme (hey, let's allow Russian 'bots to spam all over our site) to the other...

I used to work with a guy whose son went down that route to the ultimate end after getting beaten up, apparently for no reason in Newcastle.
Yes that hit's home and is not in the least bit humerous

tbf I don't think they're supposed to be humourous really, more raise a bitter smile of world-weary recognition.

That one wasn't part of depressing comic week! Most of the time they're hilarious I agree. smile

I don't think they're supposed to be taken seriously are they? I just see them as jokes in bad taste same as when I see stand up. Or like black Forces humour. It's inevitable you'll get one that is a bit close to home if you see enough of them. If that's a problem the moral of the story is don't look at them or watch stand up comedians.

I agree. I think you have to be a bit sick in the head to properly belly laugh at Depressing Comic Week panels.

Also, in denial about how sick in the head you are. Just adding that for the hate replies. LOL

Edit. Joking aside, definitely black humour for sure.

I think the difference is they ARE supposed to be taken seriously.

Comics, as a rule, are just that - light hearted (or in C&H's case, light-and-dark-hearted) humour. DCW is...serious. It's them giving you the downer after a series of uppers. Them reminding you that the world really is st and sometimes you can't laugh at it anymore.

I agree. Hence my earlier semi-serious comments
