Is it only me who suddenly thinks it's a good idea to run "ab attack" classes?
Nope, I've been a convert for all of 2 months. And I can totally see why someone would become a PT - it seems as though its only the slim/athletic women who use our gym managers .... facilities.

Aside from the obvious physical benefits, its visually quite appealing.

(being serious for a moment)
I didn't realise that there was such a variety of abdominal exercises possible with virtually zero equipment. I've often done a few different leg raises, crunches, etc. and thought that despite the irritating lard layer, I wasn't in that bad a shape. But the classes are a total killer.

Wednesdays class is doubly good, as I'll be doing a 15 minute warm up on the bike, then the abs attack class, 15 minutes bike or run, then back into the studio again for a boxercise class. Which also tends to have a fair mix of nicely athletic females.

I believe in taking care of myself,
in a balanced diet, in a rigorous exercise routine.
ln the morning, if my face is a little pufffy,
I'll put on an icepack while doing my stomach crunches.
I can do a thousand now.

I don't know why Becks feels the need to take his top off at every opportunity, he really has got a crap physique.

Most women will take that over any 90% of other bodies any day.
Me too. I fail to see what is so crap about it.
He's obviously very fit, he's toned, he's got low body fat.
What on earth is such a good physique to make Beckham's "crap"?

Google Brad Pitt in Fight Club.

Not excessively big, but at least has some shape and doesn't look like a child!

Beckham is no doubt very fit, as that's what he needs more for his given sport, but you can also be fit and have a bit of muscle/shape to you. For instance, Beckham's chest looks silly in that picture, there is no muscle there whatsoever.

I agree(ish) but shall we compare Beckham's legs with Pitt's? Going out on a limb here, I'd suggest you won't find that many pro footballers with big norks.

Supposedly Pitt was running at 5-6% body fat for FightClub - that can't be healthy? Look at him in Snatch. Or Troy.

That's a fair point, his body fat was really low for that, and I suspect it wasn't done naturally either!

Micah Richards is another example. Pro footballer and is pretty well built! I suppose it's easy to maintain that sort of body fat when you're a professional footballer. I suppose, being a defender, you'd want a bit more strength anyway.

Becks was also a county standard cross country runner.

Stats on him throughout his career show that he covers some 'serious' distance during games.

That's the way he's geared himself.

Also, he's a lot bigger in the flesh than you think, i'm not big, but I bet he could handle himself if required.

Lol. DB needs bigger pecs, right that'll help him play better football and be more attractive to women- two areas where he's obviously a bit lacking at the moment.

Who said anything about it making him perform better or more attractive to women?

I even said that his body suits his chosen sport!

It's OK, you keep making stuff up in your head!

How is he 'toned'? I thought you needed muscle to be toned.
