People do care but the vast majority have no idea of how to help or what to say. I too suffered but was able to get sorted, but mine wasn't as bad as many others have.

You need to be firm with the GP surgery and get seen, but even if they give you pills it is a slow change.

You have a lot on your plate at the moment but don't give in to the temptation to self harm again, it only hurts you and will solve nothing. Can you get away from your troubles for a while?
I won't. Not going through that again

It might be kind of like lancing a boil.

You could always hang up if it’s too much

Oceans,

Ringing the Samaritans isn't a big thing, you're only having a conversation with someone. You've spoken to us already.

Ok. There are people generally around here so come back later if you need it. We might be slow to respond though as I know thus thread goes in fits and starts

Good luck, please check in later and tell us how you are doing anyway.

I lost a very good friend who was studying oceanography. Lost as in I broke my phone and couldn’t trace them or family. Still haven’t been able to. Last time we spoke around 15 years ago they were going to be spending Xmas on a sub in the Atlantic. For some reason I was thinking about this at the weekend. Sorry to ramble but you reminded me.

How are you doing?

I know how you feel. But we have to focus, not just for our sakes, but for people around us.

Hang in there mister. One day at a time.

Ha, you will be. Trust me. Focus on the "bonus". That the positive you need to focus on.

I for one would be pleased to hear that you were safe and here in the morning.

Me too.

Haven't posted in this thread for a while, but I have been battling depression/anxiety for at least the last 3 years. I'm still some way off being as I should be and still on the maximum dose of sertraline. You're not alone!
