David Lloyd fee increase this year!!!

The David Lloyd near Brooklands wanted £95 for an off-peak membership. I told them where to stick it and joined the Cannon down the road for less than half that.

Same range of equipment, although their maintenance leaves a bit to be desired.

I'm the same. Port Solent DL for me and I have been a member for 10 years now. It's too much really and for them to try and claim that the fee means some level of "exclusivity" is laughable. I will be out by the end of March and am looking into moving here instead: http://www.nmaperformance.co.uk/ That combined with running, when my ankle is fixed(!), should see me happy!

I can't believe you much some of you guys are paying.
I'm £75 a year, including access to the scottish institute of swimming.
For non-students I think the going rate is around £200 a year, and our gyms pretty good

I pay £40 a month for unlimited use and a huge swimming pool.

It hasn't gone up this year but it's not the cheapest gym in the area but certainly the best, IMHO!
