I'm currently on the M4 in a bus looking at the "severe weather" signs. It currently appears to be drizzling.

It was -20 in 2alps last night. Guess where I'd rather be?

No, lied. I think the drizzle is actually very light snow.

It's the NEWS media who are selling this news. Maybe you have noticed, people who tell you the news are a business, and they make money out of it.

Any and every drama from Swine Hoof Disease to Flying SARS Bat Fever is probably going to wipe out the UK in one hit. According to the daily rags and associated drivel.

Would anybody really be girded into buy a newspaper if the headlines said something like 'Cold weather coming, might be a bit parky tonight, put on some extra socks'?
tumbleweed

Or does Arctic temperatures threaten UK, millions could die sound a bit better?

yikes

Nor me. I also shower in cold water and use a wire bush and domestos to wash with.

Im still alive, the snow reached around 10cm's near us but I managed to survive by killing a polar bear and living in it's fur. Im guessing most of the UK population is now dead.

If anyone is out there, I will be at the South Street Seaport every day at midday, when the sun is highest in the sky.

If only we had listened to the warnings the news people tried to give us, then we wouldnt have been struck down by snow and cold weather when we least expected it, the middle of Winter.
