Does anyone else on here have experience of these?

Ive been on durogesics for 18 months and in that time i've tried every other brand (from fentalis reservoir to matrifen silicone patches) and have found them lacking, i true mezolar a long time ago but they have changed the formulation now and apparently they work better.
As im with a private GP, the durogesics are costing me 140 for a box of 5 (15 days supply) so i'm spending 280 a month on them, whilst i don't mind paying for them as they work very well, i'm attracted to mezolar as they are pretty much the same and only 20 a box, my concern is that they wont work as well/stay attached very well so if anyone has any experience on them i'd love to hear it.

durogesic and mezolar are different brands of fentanyl patch. They are both designed to release fentanyl at certain rates (e.g 25micrograms per hour). This is the rate it is released thro the membrane, but absorption thro the skin is more variable, depending on where it is stuck.
In theory they are bioequivalent, in that they both should have the same response /effect. Many GP's are changing their patients over to mezolar, as it is significantly cheaper than durogesic.
However, there may be slight differences when changing brands, but this will be transient.
If it were me, i would change to the cheaper brand, but you may need a small adjustment in dose if absorption is different.

Thanks for that, it just confirms what I know already thanks thumbup
I'm pretty au fait with drugs and know the theoretical difference but it always helps to get an opinion of them from someone who has used them.
