Blood donations

Why dont they have blood donation places open 24 hours a day somewhere like in a hospital instead of randomly turning up at your town hall with no prior warning(maybe they do give warning but I spend a good amount of time around the town hall where they set up and never see anything until I go past when they are closing up)? Or even a blood collection bus/ambiwlans? So you can make an appointment and they come to your house? If you could do that Id give blood once a week if theyd let you.

If you turned up at a local hospital or ambiwlans depo would they take it? Or just get security to make/ask me to leave?

Every time I do a check on the site they have it tells me there are no collections locally scheduled, and I keep on missing it when it comes to town.

Sign up on the website and they'll send you a regular leaflet saying where and when they are going to be.

Just signed up, sorted. Although they just ignored me when I asked why they wont come to my house haha!
