They are either tied, and by that they are actually looped and stapled.
or they have a 1cm piece cut out, and the ends closed off, exactly like a man has his "tubes " snipped.

In fact, when the woman gets her tubes "done" it is more 100% than when a man gets his done.
If she has the medical problem, I see no reason why she shouldn't go, and leave old "Johnny" in one piece?

Bump for thread. BVD: I'm blaming you for my experience last week. What you should have said was:

Local anaesthetic injection.
Doctor makes tiny (less than 1cm) cut into ballsack, locates swimmer-transporting tube, ties it off, tucks it back in.
DO SECOND ANAESTHETIC INJECTION IN OTHER SIDE.
Repeat for other side.

That wasn't the most pleasant experience of my life - and no one in this thread has mentioned the lurid multi-colour swelling and bruising that my wife takes the mickey about.
