Getting Drunk and hangovers
Discussion
I never ever get hangovers, apart from one time, when I was 17 and drunk far FAR too much, dont really remember how much but it was the most I have ever drunk in my life, mixing beer, spirits and everything else and ended up throwing up and then passing out on my mates bedroom floor.
the other night, I was drinking gin, never really got properly drunk on this before, decided to have one glass too many and was really feeling it, so I stood up, legs not really under my conrol and trying to walk in different ways, fell up the stairs, then made it to bed.
Thats when things started to get bad, I turned the light out, then the world desided to spin like mad, My mouth made loads of saliva and stomach was churning. I tryed to get up to made it to the toilet in time, but fell back onto my bed then slumped onto the floor, starting to panic I grab my bed and wobbaly make it to standing, then procede to bounce off all the walls leading upto my door and walk a small way along the skirting board.
YES, I made it to the bathroom, but then I collapse by the throne, feeling the cold embrace of the bathroom tiles, hurting my hips and head in the process.
I lay there for about 10 minutes with my world spinning but not having a technicolour yawn. AHA Im through the worst of it now I thought.
got bad to bed and passed out not to wake untill midday the next day.
So why didnt I get a hangover from that, when I would have welcomed death on the bathroom floor??

It won't last!
I was like that when I was a student, could go to bed after 12+ pints of Stella and be fine in the morning. Nowadays (I graduated two years ago) I'll be lucky to not be hungover after 6. I did used to drink 3 nights a week minimum, now it's like 1 or 2 nights a month so I guess it must have something to do with that.
How old are you and how often do you drink?
