Ah yes thanks, was going to mention parkrun and then forgot. I have signed up, my local one is just down the road. Going to wait until I can complete the full distance without stopping and then go and do one.

Good work OP. I was in a similar boat to you and started doing the NHS couch to 5K programme after getting to 19 odd stone. After doing the 5k comfortably I went onto 10k then half marathon distance. Lost 3.5 stone and training for a half marathon in October.

I’m not keen on treadmills, we have one at home that my OH uses. I haven’t been on it for about 9 months. They’re useful for intervals I find but much prefer being outside.

Stick with it.
