Fit 2 Fat 2 Fit
Discussion
Remember the guy (drew manning) all over the papers 6 months ago because he went from 195 ripped to 260+ fat - well his "big revel" is tommorow - back to fit again, in theory. Will be interesting to say the least!

Regardless of outcome, it will have a whiff of steaming horse.
He isn't fat enough to start with, unless he's at most average height.
He hasn't been fat for anywhere near long enough to have any idea of the physical issues, let alone the mental ones.
He's had a fair period (presumably) of being the other side of the fence, so understands all the things that go with being disciplined (diet, exercise and so on) and the good things which go with being in good physical nick. You're average 260 lbs + person doesn't.
Probably again related to the mental side, he knows what he was like and that he'll get there. Again, the average fat person really can't see that since more often than not they've never been anywhere near what he was. Something which might be easy to knock but in reality is one hell of a hurdle to overcome.
I'm sure it can be done, since I know it can be done over a longer timeframe with a bit less effort, determination, fitness starting point etc, just not sure what he's trying to prove or achieve TBH, bar the obvious.
Personally, I actually find something like this more interesting, although I guess I'd be in a minority:

I've been loosely following him on his Youtube channel, he made a video on thursday annoouncing he'll make the big 'reveal' today (monday) on an american TV show. I know (from his videos) he spent the first month back onto the 'fit' stage just adjusting his diet and doing stretches, even showing what his meal looked like for thanks giving etc.. His channel also shows some of the exercises he did.
I did notice that in the past couple of months he hasn't posted up any videos/photos and the latest video (below) is actually a recording of him when he begun the entire thing (in his fit stage).

I agree with all the previous comments. He's already a personal trainer and has (had) a cracking bod, he's been there and knows how to get back there. He knows that if he puts the diet & exercise in he will get the results.
The obvious limitation comes in the many people who - me included - have never had his kind of physique, have never been there and don't have that belief in getting results that would make them commit to a certain diet & exercise.

I can't be the only one wanting to see him stuck in the 'fat' stage. Almost as if a physical barrier is stopping him, thus destroying his chances of regaining his former physique.
Left in a harrowing state, where he laments the days of his former self, depreciating into a depression cured only by wotsits and bacon. His weight increases. His wife leaves him. His children call him 'The space hopper'. The pain is too much. "Where is the phone. KFC? I'd like to order twin family buckets. Yup. On the tab." Days pass and nobody calls, forever to be known as Jabba the Fit.
