Likewise for my mom, she smoked easily 20 a day since she was 16, and had 1 hypnotherapy session when she was 47 and topped straight after that, shes now 53 and hates the smell etc, all for £100 odd quid session.

Well, all I can say is that Saturday and Sunday went by fast! My speech, according to others, was excellent and supposedly I didn't look nervous at all. I have to admit though, I still was pretty nervous. As such, I'm not entirely sure if the hypnotherapy worked, or whether I just stood up and 'dealt with it' as I had no other choice.

However it was pretty good to sit down and talk to someone about what was making me nervous. The hypnotherapy session was incredibly relaxing too smile Would I do it again? Hmmm, probably not. Still, even if it helped a bit, it was worth the cash smile

Glad it went well. As to whether it helped, if you didn't panic then it helped. With such things, it's not like you get a massive neon sign with a loudspeaker going "Whoop! Whoop! Hypnotherapy function kicking in!"

I used it to good success for a spider phobia. Petrified before, then at the end of the course was holding a Mexican red knee turantula!

Works if you are willing for it to work

Hey, it was your sub-concious which suggested he was a paedo wink
No, it was my conscious mind which triggered the paedo alert.

I hate public speaking, etc, and went through the ordeal of the best-man-speech last year. I had an identical experience to the OP (without assistance from softly-spoken child molesters)
