I'm doing Keto, and eat lots of eggs, (nitrite free) bacon, almonds, leafy green veg and steak. I feel great so far, awesome energy levels and I've lost about 22lbs in 2 months (With a few 'off' days as well).

Just drink lots of water.
Apart from your 'off' days, do you measure your carb intake at all or stay completely away from bread/potatoes/rice etc?
Do you eat much fruit?

Ah, but how many people have died since then? Must be, oh, thousands of folk die each century, surely?

I don't really know, I've heard anecdotal evidence it's bad and there's natural bacon at my supermarket so I just buy that instead, it's not a big deal.

I stay totally away from bread/potatoes/rice, I used MyFitnessPal for a bit but now I think I have a good enough grip on it that I don't need to, and I don't get the urge to overeat anyway.

Regarding fruit, I don't eat as much as I should but it's totally possible, if you read up on Keto and actually filter out the "OMG I CAN EAT BACON 24/7" mentality. It actually encourages you to eat a wide range of foods.

I've recovered temporarily from my eggy demise to post that I'm still stuck firmy with the bacon and egg mentality and loving it.

The way I see it, it's got to be better than the st I was eating before to get like the fat bd I am currently, plus I can see myself doing this for life, I'm not seeing at as a diet, but a total lifestyle change. Which is going well.

It's annoying to see people going "ANY RECIPES FOR KETO BROWNIES?!", aaaaah.

Yeah, bacon and eggs are a great breakfast food, goats cheese works well in an omelette as well.

Or try grilled or roasted Hallumi with red and green peppers cooked with tomatoes in a shallow pan with a few drops of olive oil, or with roasted mediterranean vegetables. Favourites back in the days when I could still eat food!
