Bad form has been rebuked. Half bench reps will develop the check.

Back on the subject of steroids. Natural or juiced? From a BBC article of health and fitness today

Smartphone, should be banned from the gym, there was a young girl on the leg press messing with her bloody phone for 25 minutes whilst occasionally doing a half arsed set on the absolute lightest weight, then gave me a dirty look when I asked her if she had finished, she said no so I pointed out she had been sat there on her phone for ages and I wanted the equipment, she made a point of hogging it for a bit longer and then went and sat on another machine messing with her phone.

Then you get those on cardio machines, walking at 2 mph on a treadmill or on an exercise bike with no resistance on, messing with their phones, what is the point, go to a Costa or similar and knock yourself out, you go to the gym to exercise, you cant exercise whilst operating a smartphone, other than using it for music, I go on the cross trainer for 25 minutes, I get off a sweaty, panting mess, I couldn't contemplate operating a phone while doing that.

I bet these are the same folk that mess with their phones when driving, addicted to it, cant leave it alone.

You are forgetting the importance of tweeting/posting that you are at the gym, letting all know that you are at the gym is far more important than what you do there!

This is only going to get worse!!

My rant - today was doing squats in the rack, I un-rack the bar walk 1 pace out, at this exact moment someone decides to take the weights attached to the rack squeezing between the rack and another piece of equipment, extremely off putting and could be dangerouse if they knock me. Just wait or walk the extra 10 paces to the weight tree with the same weights on them!!!!

I don't get why she needs to sit on it for that long. why can't she stand up for the 30sec it's going to take you to do each rep? I've no problem sharing a machine with people (if I ever use them).

I check my phone, though it's only between the 2-3minute rest periods between sets.

My gripe today was finishing somr cardio, going to the water fountain and finding crap all of the bin that's under the tissue dispenser. It's pretty clear that someone vomitted in it, just not very well as it's all over the top. gross. it was all dried up too, so it must have been there since early morning or yesterday.

But why? What life changing event are you going to miss in the time you're at the gym that can't wait?

What else is there to do for the 2-3 minutes between sets? I end up staring at people. wink

There's not much to do I guess? should I stare blankly into space? or weird other people out by staring while they workout?

Exactly. I just stare at men's biceps and wear purple clothing.
