What Are Your Gym/Fitness/Routine Moans?

Not really a moan but I am considering changing gyms to a big chain - they're cheaper (not massively) with corporate membership and they have more locations.
I am a bit fed up of the lack of dip belts and a decent pull up bar in my gym.
Downside is if I switch I will lose access to a proper pool at the gym, however there is a free to use 25m pool not far from my house so that isn't such a problem.
I've never been to a gym with a dip belt that actually has all the bits, they're always missing some chain or a carabiner/hook. I just bought my own and pack it in my gym kit. This goes from everything for pricey health clubs to spit-and-sawdust council gyms.I am a bit fed up of the lack of dip belts and a decent pull up bar in my gym.

Lack of a pull up bar would be annoying though.
I own a fair bit of kit now; dip belt, long strap handles, head harness, I did have an ankle strap but an old partner took it, gravity boots, two sorts of ab wheel. I keep most in my car boot for easy use.
Thinking about pull up bars (not even including the climbing frame with ladder) there must be 8 places for heaves, and another 20 spots on the frame.

I have one but I don't have the space to carry it. Maybe I was spoiled at my old gym.Lack of a pull up bar would be annoying though.
They do have a pull up bar (3 or 4 actually) - and they have a whole functional fitness room with some good equipment, but the ceiling is low and there are ducts for the ventilation system running through it, so the height above the bars isn't huge - which is becoming a bit restrictive.
It's not the end of the world, but if I can switch to somewhere with better equipment in that regard and save some money then I probably will.

My left bicep has started hurting when benching. So annoying.
Careful. Sometimes the root cause isn't actually at the immediate point where the pain (seems) to be.IIRC, I had a bicep pain (under load) after I tore my rotator cuff.
Does this help any self-diagnosis?

My gym is hosting the borough 'Fitness Expo' today - basically an Open Day.
This means the gym is full of guests, stalls selling crap and PT's doing basic circuits for people to try out.
They've also changed their prices so it's now cheaper than when I signed up plus you get a month free.

Finished my trial at the possible altenative gym chain yesterday.
The equipment is generally good but there isn’t that much of it given how busy the gym was, and even with what was there it was pretty cramped.
But they have a lot more locations, towels are included, the facilities are much more modern and they have steam rooms and cold rooms which I really liked. And it’s cheaper.
Jury is out for now.

The lying bd scales at my gym.
Got weighed at the doc's three weeks ago; 93kg (I'm 6ft). Way heavier than I wanted to be (since it's not all muscle) so started doing an hour a day on the exercise bike, sometimes 90mins plus 2 or 3 gym sessions a week.
Weighed myself at the gym yesterday and apparently I've lost 2.2lbs. A SINGLE KILO in three weeks after all that exercise. Hmph.

im not sure i trust my gyms scales either. seems to be as much as a half stone discrepancy in weight to that of my home scales. makes me want to buy a 2nd set of scales to compare.Got weighed at the doc's three weeks ago; 93kg (I'm 6ft). That reminds me of something. Many years ago before I had a clue about anything gym related I setup one of those pull up bars in a door frame in my house. After a few weeks of counting pull ups and doing endless sit ups and crunchies I saw a pair of gravity boots for sale and bought them home. I was well excited about having a go so I stuck some loud music on, clipped onto the bar, hung at full stretch and started doing inverted sit ups for all I was worth, you can probably guess the rest.
The final rep was to failure and I collapsed down completely spent fighting to get some breath back, then thought "Oh st!".
I could not reach back up to the bar, got panicky, tried too many times too quickly and started to feel very odd. Music was blaring so even my nearest neighbour wouldn't have heard me shouting, I was only wearing a pair of shorts and had sweaty legs and hands. I felt myself swimming into a feint, I didn't have the strength left to brace against the slippery door frame and my concentration started drifting. I have no idea how I found the strength for one last, desperate try but I managed to get a finger on one boot followed by another curled around the bar. Lifted out and pretty much dropped into a heap on the floor.
Next job was to hang a length of rope from the bar with knots tied in it obviously.
Sounds rather funny and stupid looking back but it was a really close call, I think I came pretty near to an unpleasant ending that afternoon. Careful with those gravity boots!
