i think everyone has had a look at the attractive woman that's around, if it were the other way round the women would have a look at an attractive guy. although im concious that i don't want to make them feel uncomfortable at all, so it might just be a quick glance, especially when they aren't looking.

the ones who harass have ego problems. its sad to hear it happen.

Took my mate with me to the gym once.

He busts out a pair of compression leggings with little "footy" shorts over the top.

We were doing chest and shoulders. rolleyes

I put him straight.

I can imagine the harassment thing happens a lot. I used to go to a gym with a females only section. The puregym I use now though...I've never seen as many women in the gym, they frequent the free weights section...maybe as high as 40%, and leggings are uber popular. I have also met a few dates/partners at the gym. I am amused when I see a bloke try and talk to a girl who clearly is just being polite, but also, there's a lot of genuine gym chat too.

i follow them.

there is also

gymjabronis
gymfailnation

but the one you mentioned is probably the best. it astounds me how dangerous, stupid and ridiculous some of these movements are. half the time i think its intentional and part of a youtube video.

fat guy, huge gut, ego """squatting"""...yes I used three sets of "". I reckon the biggest ego lift is the leg press, load it up to max and move it an inch, then the squat, load it up, sit on your arse for 5 minutes then stagger it out and do the sttest reps imaginable. I'm gonna be generous and say gutman did more than quarter squat and did the full half-squat. With his super stiff belt. Too hip dominant, was using 180, but from his form I don't think he could get out of the hole with 120. Then he did awful deadlifts that made me wince.

I don't know why he irritates me so much. Time to cycle off tren biggrin

He's not Welsh is he? Black hair/beard, loves himself.
You've described someone I know that's in his own world.
People have tried to burst his bubble several times but he just doesn't listen laugh

For me, it's more a 'controlled drop'. I don't just open my grip and drop it, but I certainly don't slowly lower it.
RDL yes; deads no.
A deadlift has both a concentric and an eccentric part of the movement, to do a full rep requires the person to have control over the bar throughout the entire rep. But yes, the down movement will tend to be a bit quick unless doing tempo stuff but the only people that open their hands at the top are *naughty word removed*

edit: For anyone not liking the noise of heavy deadlifts, i hope you never enter a weightlifting gym, now those people are noisy :S

i let the bar drop when its about 6 inches from the floor but use rubber plates on a rubber floor. Used to place metal down onto rubber but the reverb caused shoulder issues.

Spatial awareness of new members seems to be limited at my gym; one girl stood in the path of the 45 degree leg press bars when i was using it - i didnt say anything as i couldnt believe someone could be that thick not to see i was repping as they worked out on the machine next to me

Tried to take a photo of some other retard but forgot i left camera sounds on and unfortunately took a st picture.

Been so busy, cant get on stuff.

Dont mind, just people doing the same as me but I think they just sign to many up.

Three three teenage boys on the cable crossover, pissing about, walking as far as the cable would go and then getting dragged back.

The dicks that park on the double yellows on the road outside, saw a mum with three kids with her going to a swimming lesson trying to avoid the getting squashed as they couldnt see past the Rolls Royce Cullinan plonked there.

Hopefully it will return to normality.

Watching one of Eddie Hall's youtube videos and a sign on one of the gyms read "if the weights are too heavy for you to return to the rack, then ask one of the girls on reception, who will be happy to help you."

I wish my gym had a similar sign. So many people leave plates and dumbells everywhere and just walk away. Part of the work out is tidying up after yourself!
