Well done!

Today:

Squats - 5x12-5 reps
BB Clean and Press - 5x8-3 reps

Superset:
Bench Press - 4x12-5 reps
Wide Grip Pull Ups - 4x12-8 reps

Meant to do 5 sets of each, but I failed on my last rep on the 4th set of BP, and realised (too late), I hadn't put the spotter bars in place, so ended up with a couple of sore ribs as I rolled the 120kg bar down my torso so I could sit up...

T-Bar Rows - 4x12-8 reps
Seated Pulley Row (wide grip) - 4x12-10 reps

Horrible one tonight.

Few emoms and then the main work out was..

AMRAP 16 minutes

10 kettle bell swings (24)
10 wall balls (9)
10 press ups
10 goblet squat

I managed 8 whole rounds and 39 reps.

Hard one to get the pace right!

Everyone's training well, good stuff. My training's been pretty good too, a little bit of muscle soreness to contend with, especially on the bike which is unusual. Gym work is going really well, got so close to a near double body weight bench at the weekend - 159kg but failed twice. Pretty close though. biggrin Spending a lot of time eating, surprising how much extra food I need to consume just to maintain 81+kg of bodyweight. Pic below.

Testing my deadlift max this morning:
100kg x 3, 140kg x 2, singles at 150, 160, 170 and a max at 180kg https://www.instagram.com/p/Bbyqw-Ml7x-/?taken-by=... Not a great lift though.

Then 100kg x 6
Finisher - 10x10 pushups

Nice. Is it just press-ups that gave you that chest?

Good work! Not that bad a lift, I dont think. Back stayed pretty much neutral, and the bar just about kept moving.

Thanks! First time using straps so I had an double overhand rather than staggered grip and the bar was swinging a bit which didn't help.

Straps (I use grabs) are damn good once you get up near 200. Once you get used to them, the bar wil stop rolling.

Hope so. I think a few weeks doing multiple-rep sets at 150-ish will help me get a better 180. The ultimate aim is 200 in the next 6 months.

Decent!
Just looks like you were slightly out of position which is why the bar swayed a little. Good for a bit more there though.

5 days into the veggie and reduced meat diet anddddddd I feel better in general..... Hate to admit that as I miss meat cry
I'm potentially going to look at introducing more natural foods after a couple weeks such as potatoes etc.
I have just however purchased a MUDHO DNA test kit which hopefully will turn up this week and give me some insights into how I should eat and train!

Tuesdays session was 200kg speed pulls, last set filmed and moving quick still, next week is 290x7 attempt which hopefully goes!

Cheers - not sure what you mean by out of position? Having watched it back it looks like my bum was a bit high; did I start with the bar too far forwards as well?
