Not cardio, just took the kids to the leisure centre for a paddle about. It's rubbish for swimming...

Yeah, but if you go, all the other ancient and decrepit mature gentlemen will marvel at your Greek God bod!

You just used the word 'bod'.

Halb is a 15 year-old girl from Essex AICMFP.

hehe

Have already had the over 50's Sun-Life pension/funeral plan junk mail come through the door, and straight in the bin...

Anyway... Today no training as such, but a brisk 3 mile walk this morning with the dogs..

To be fair to him, if I followed Chris's workouts, I would need the funeral insurance more than he does. The volume would kill me.

I just got used to it, slowly. ATM, my 3 day per week full body workout seems to have morphed into a 2 day, twice weekly split, as I have been going with my wife to the gym on Sunday morning. Then just shoulders and arms the next day, with half of the stuff being isolations, which aren't too taxing no matter how hard I push myself, at least compared to the compounds.

May have to change it back to three days, though, as I feel a full body routine every workout is better for me.

Night off tonight which pissed me off, was supposed to be heading over to the Spirit Dojo in Nottingham to check it out but pulled a muscle in my lower back twisting yesterday. Hopefully back to swimming tomorrow and then head over Thursday.

Last night.

15 minutes to establish 10rm back squat.

Managed 130kg for 10 (72kg bodywieght). Quite pleased!

Then 110 x 10.

3 x 10 ring dips super setted with max strict pull ups.

21-15-9

110kg deadlift
Wall ball shots.

I know you are not a tall man, so are built for squats, but 130kg for 10 at your bodyweight is awesome! Are you sure these arent quarter squats smile

Thanks! It was tough! strangely reps 6-9 felt the easiest!

Ha you are correct I am quite short. 5'4 and three quarters to be precise.

Regrettably I didn't film them but I can assure you they were all to depth wink

Ah. 74kg at 5'4 isnt light. Still impressive, but I am less inclined to doubt the depth smile
