Shoulders sat. Nothing too exciting.

Military press feels good, the 60kg is going up strict for a good 4-5 reps.

Massively overdid the food last night and could barely get my trousers done up this morning.

Focus on diet this week. I may *shudder* even start tracking macros...

Very quick workout in the gym near my parents' house (excellent gym - probably the best equipped I have seen anywhere).

Deadlift:
140kg x 7 (PR and lowering each rep under control so very pleased. Grip was fine)

OHP dumbells: 3 x 8 @ 20kg
Dumbell row: 3 x 8 @ 35kg

Curls - one horrible lengthened set: 6 x 20kg concentration curl straight into 16 x barbell curl; rest 10 seconds and then 5 more reps.

From me today - was going to be a fairly easy day but I thought fk it. A spirited one hour ride on the bike - 33kph, the quality rides in France are gonna be paying me back big time. Then smashed out some pull ups - a few warm up sets then 4 x sets of 15 in quick succession. Massive pump. My favourite exercise by a mile. biggrin

Bodyweight sits at 80kg just about. Height stays the same. smile

I've had a bit of time off, back at it tomorrow with renewed vigour...

Had a mess about today and did some DB rows with 130kg, must be a PB? www.instagram.com/p/BXPZIWTDQ5o
Felt heavy, but managed to keep it pretty strict with a full ROM. Will be building up over the next 6 weeks to hopefully hit some good PB's on everything. 190kg bench, 300+ squat and 305+ dead will be the targets, hopefully doable.

Keeping my calories high, but not gaining much weight, so they've been upped again, and my splits back down to 3x per week. My style of training needs more recovery I think, as it stalled when I moved to a 4 day split, though I did get leaner.

Damn impressive!
Watch out for jerking your neck about, though.

Everything is invincible until it ain't!

Talking of necks, I'm free of pain despite doing DB OHP yesterday, so it looks like I may be able to re-introduce proper overhead work in a month or two. Interested to see how much landmine presses have allowed me to retain some strength.

Off to train this afternoon once i get out of work.

There's an AMRAP challenge on one of the FB groups i'm in so i'll be giving that a go whatever happens:

AMRAP, BOR @60kg

Highest I've seen in the group so far is about 50 reps. One of the girls hit 34...

No pressure then hehe

I cannot even begin to imagine the horrible form on reps 49 and 50!

Similar to yesterday, except the bike ride was faster and I did more pull ups, so not really similar at all. Progress is being made. Itching to get to the gym - may pencil in a session tomorrow.

I managed 40/41. (33 according to DD!)

It did me, totally. Managed 100 reps total. A few squats and i went home. Wasn't feeling it at all.

Gonna try for 125kg for 8 next.

Today>

EZ preacher: 60kg x 15
DB hammers: 30's x 16
Calf press: to failure
Squat: too sore today...
Walking Lunges: these will replace squats if they're sore, try to focus on my left leg. bunch with the bar, quite tough!
GHR: against a band, to failure.

Pissed off with squats, but lunges were good, so i'll do them if squats hurt. Just need to slowly build up the load.

I haven't squatted in a long time, so today's 10x10 was very difficult!

8 sets at 80kg, one set at 90kg and then a final set at 100kg (7 reps, rest, 3 reps) and I was done in. I'd guess my 1RM to be around 120kg at the mo, which isn't great.

125kg for 8 would be huge! What's your deadlift 1RM?

Whoever says that having a little break to recharge, so that when you come back, you feel better, lie like cheap watches! Every time I have a little time off (in this case, I missed Monday's session), I always feel as though all my strength has gone - even after such a short break!

I had a strange injury a week or so ago when Squatting, I managed to pull a muscle in my upper chest. Since then, I have had pain, cramp and an occasional pins and needles sensation in my left arm - which was the reason for missing Monday. Still tingles a little, but not so bad, so thought I'd train today. Felt very weak and every set was a struggle, but persevered..

Squats - 5x12-5 reps
Bench Press - 5x12-6 reps
BB O/H Press - 5x12-5 reps
Power Clean - 8x6-1 rep

Deadlift - 3x5
BB BOR - 4x12-8 reps
Wide grip Pull Ups - 4x10-6 reps
Seated Pulley Row - 4x16-12 reps
