It is probably a bad idea for any exercise with a substantial postural component. But that leaves most exercises as good candidates.

I like it for horizontal pulls and pushes. But it is brutal - a lot of people (me included) would struggle with the recovery from workouts with a lot of rest-pause work.

I'd avoid doing it with deads, and be very wary with squats.
Thanks for the advice. I don’t do dead’s generally anyway - I work out at home and don’t really have the amount of weight required to do it properly. Squats - noted, would you recommend just sticking to a single set on those without doing pause reps? I suppose by having a minute rest it went beyond what you would call a pause rep anyway...

Ben Greenfields doesn't understand stem cells or telomeres. Nonsense!

These stem cells labs popping up in the US are basically snake oil. There are stem cell therapies currently in development but normally these are for haematological or inflammation diseases, not anti-aging. Also Telomeres cannot tell your biological age, yes they reduce in length with cell division but they cant be used like rings on a tree, again these labs are essentially snake oil.

Why is the frail man topless? Why is the frail man walking on a treadmill?

Those are the important questions.
