Your Training Goals for 2015
Discussion
There's me thinking I'm now invincible, combining yoga with my training to reduce injuries.
Tweaked me darn back on Saturday. Dropped a knife getting up from the sofa, went to catch it and thought better of it - didn't want to slice me fingers off - but pulling out twisted awkwardly. Knew immediately something wasn't right but no pain at the time. FF to yesterday, squat day. Last of deload week so very light anyway, but last rep of last set took a good long pause at the bottom and twang! As I came up, what I'd felt the day before was there tenfold. Again, not too bad but I knew it was going to hurt later. I was right.
Ibuprofen seems to help a lot but I'll take a day or two extra before I begin cycle 3.
Arse-biscuits.
TL;DR - Yoga does not protect you from stupidity.

TBH whilst getting strong is interesting, I'm more interested in getting bigger and I'm not sure that just lifting heavy will get the job done. Been focusing more on GVT in the last few months and that seems to be working plus I get fewer injuries!
BUT I do get lured back to strength work as it's much more interesting.
How many scrawny strongmen do you know? BUT I do get lured back to strength work as it's much more interesting.
Also, I've seen enough stronger men at my gym who are no bigger than me. Very disheartening to see. (They're probably lifting 30% heavier than me.)
10x10 has helped me grow during my cut
Inspired by your video, I have decided to see where I can take this push press as doing a couple of low rep, high weight reps shouldn't affect my other training. And I've always liked the exercise.
I've had a excellent session!
Been playing with my deadlift form since dieting as I've been going lighter and today something just clicked!
18kg lighter, still dieting on 2950 cals and I pulled a 1" deficit PB!
(Also my PB from proper height albeit a lot slower but can't complain! )

Can someone help me, I think I'm over thinking it or got numbers wrong
BMR = 2550 cals
Excercise = 300 cals a session average (guess work)
2lbs of fat = ~7000 cals
(BMR x 7) + (300 x 6) = 19,650 cals a week
(19,650 - 7000) / 7 = 1807 cals a day to lose 2lb a week.
I know it's wrong, so what have I done wrong?
lowering my cals down from 2900 to 2700 as weight loss has slowed

I don't think there's anything wrong with your maths, it's just not linear or as simple as that.
Macros, sleep/rest, acclimation, etc all take a role so it rarely works out exactly as we hope/expect.

Well I'll just do the old method of drop 200 cals when I stop for now

Aye. Keeping it simple works best.
I see it a lot on MFP. Women (it usually is women) getting really upset because they're following everything to the letter (well, number) and then they gain half a pound even after losing 2lbs a week consistently for a month.
But women are always right!? I see it a lot on MFP. Women (it usually is women) getting really upset because they're following everything to the letter (well, number) and then they gain half a pound even after losing 2lbs a week consistently for a month.
Guess they didn't argue hard enough with their body

The noise you just heard is the sound of a black hole being created.
