Has anyone tried melatonin? Thoughts? Problems? How much to take etc?

Tried, didn't really notice a difference. Followed the instructed dose.

(Bought in the USA, from a legitimate source.)

My experience may not be the same as yours, do your own research, etc.

Likewise, didn't really seem to make a difference to me but then I've known other people to swear by it.

I'm in the "swear by it" category. It works brilliantly for me, I take the recommended dose, going both ways, and rarely suffer from real Jet Lag now. You get tired from the actual travelling, but it removes the weird feelings of jet lag.

Buy it in the US or Canada when I am there

A colleague was handing them out on the way back from a conference recently, so I gave it a go despite being pretty skeptical.

It's a fairly regular trip for us, flying cattle class from Orlando, and I rarely sleep much if at all. It could easily have been coincidence but this time I got a solid five hours which is unheard of for me. So yeah, I'll be using them next time I fly long haul.

It's banned for pilots. It may not all be good but probably occasional use not a big deal?

I use it for insomnia, from a company called Biovea. Also their "Kirkland sleep aid". No idea what it does for jet lag, but take one of each on an empty stomach then half an hour later have a bite to eat and you will be out for the count, like it or not!

I'm in the swear by it camp. You can just buy it in the supermarket in the US.

Used it a few times, different sources, it seems to act like a stimulant for me. So it didn't help me sleep at all.
