Phat Fighters Q3
Discussion
Static at 74.4 kg this week which is probably because although I've been very good about exercise I have had a few lapses with food. My diet is usually ok during the week but there have been cakes at work and I've been out more than usual. I'm also out tonight and that will be calorific!
I've decided that October is going to be a frugal month though as I've a few big purchases coming up and it will stop me from using too much of my savings. So less treats at the weekend and hopefully more weight off as a consequence. Watch this space

I have put on around 2 1/2 stone this year through over eating/eating crap. It's 3 months to Christmas Eve tomorrow so have set myself a goal of loosing 3 stone by then. This is approximately 3 1/2lbs a week which should be doable Have done a healthy shop today and am planning to do a 30 minute brisk walk every lunch time. Might require join Slimming World if only for the purpose of getting weighed so at least I can't kid myself that the scales are wrong every week (I am old so don't do kilos)
Q4 starts next Sunday (finish date Christmas Eve so we can all relax after)Edited by Twig62 on Saturday 23 September 13:25

I downloaded the My Fitness Pal App which has been very helpful. Did 6432 steps today apparently which has added another 250 calories to my 1500 daily allowance. Went for a brisk walk lunchtime and took the long route to the postbox with the office mail this afternoon. Just wish that I hadn't organised a Macmillan coffee morning at work on Friday now !
just have a black coffee Down 1.1 kg this week to 73.2 so that's a full 6 kg lost this quarter. Not quite the target of 72.5 but only 0.7 kg off so I'm pretty pleased especially as there have been a few hiccups along the way. However I've usually managed to get back on track which I think is a good sign that this is a genuine lifestyle change for me and the standard is now eating less bad food and exercising more.
Health-wise my blood pressure is 117/76 instead of the 138/84 it was at the start of the year and I'm much fitter than I've been in a long time. Of course the downside of all this is all my clothes are now far too big for me so I have to go shopping First world problems hey
Still got a further 4.2 kg to lose before my BMI registers as normal (yes I know it's not the perfect prediction but I'd like for once to be able to say I have normal BMI) so off to join Q4. See you losers over there
