You are the same as me.

I am busy and I see lunch as an inconvenience. Hence why I always grabbed something unhealthy and quick from the local food outlets.

I switched to Huel and have lost significant weight, as well as now spending only around £7 per week on weekday lunches.

Physically I feel much better.

Still love food though. Normal meals evenings and weekends.

Bit late checking this, sorry! It was vanilla flavour. It was a bugger to mix up, nothing short of a blender would do the job despite the instructions stating it can be shaken.
Was this with the 'new improved' vanilla or the original? I've only used the 'improved' version but I found it very easy to mix in a normal shaker, just scoop it in, pour water on top and shake for 10 seconds.

Trying vanilla with the coffee sweetener/flavouring today. Tastes much better.

Interestingly the mixing instructions on those sweetener packets are different to the book that came with the order (500ml water, 3 scoops vanilla) versus 400ml water, 3 scoops, then a further 200ml water.

I don't know, when was the improved stuff released? The stuff I tried was bought from Amazon about 6 months ago.

It's not a hard & fast recipe; if it's a bit chewy then you can add more water to get it how you like it. I like it with only 400ml of water but I suspect many would think that a bit thick.

I ordered mine about 4 weeks ago from Huel. Both the 'old' and 'improved' vanilla were available at the time.

I timed myself this lunchtime, 6 seconds of shaking and no lumps/bits stuck to the bottom. Just using the basic shaker from Huel with the grille and no whisk ball. I have it quite thin though so I can neck it down in 3-4 goes.

"New and improved" Vanilla is a bit like "New Coke". They introduced it, everyone complained, so they had to re-introduce the old version hehe

Had my first for lunch at the office today. I ordered the coffee flavour and then topped it up with a shot of espresso. It actually wasn't half bad. I shall continue and see how it goes.

Anyone tried the Berry flavour?

I've just ordered my second delivery of Huel (2 x Berry and 1 x Vanilla) after slurping my way though my first order of 2 x Vanilla bags.

I hope the Berry flavour is a little bit more flavoursome, as I find the vanilla a bit bland and always seem to add something to it.

I kept thinking a second shaker would be very handy, so I just lied when I placed my second order and ticked for the free T shirt and Shaker, which I already received in my first order. Used my wife's name to throw them off the scent.

Hipsters are so trusting.

I also ordered the selection of 10 different flavour boosts sachets. Looking forward to trying those and seeing which ones are nice.

first meal with new improved vanilla with a 1/2 teaspoon of choco nesquik (unfortunately not the reduced sugar one).

Tasted reasonable, quick full, bit of heartburn.

Will carry on with this from now.

I have to say I didn't really like the berry flavoured one. I found it better to stick to the vanilla & use that as a base to which other flavours can be added. I tried the 10 pack of flavour boosts & most of them were a bit meh but he banana is ok. I don't like making it too sweet which is why I'm struggling with the My Protein Whole Fuel. Although it costs less I'm not keen on it's sweetness.

I don't understand why they don't do a chocolate flavoured one.

Just started on this today. I'm using the vanilla 2.3 version. Taste is fine. Smell is a bit playdough-esque which is off putting, As is the slightly gritty texture from from the little bits of seeds which remain after shaking it. It has surprised me how well it has satiated my hunger so far though.

Think I might put a bit of chocolate whey powder in it tomorrow to up the protein count and take the edge off the vanilla.

I think the costs of making & stocking multiple flavours would become problematic. I think they've decided to sell it as neutral base to which other flavours can be added as you wish.

My first day on it too. Planning for it to do everything apart from and apple during the day and my evening meal.

Mixed it in the blender this morning with a few tablespoons of frozen fruit.

For lunch I put some cocoa powder in it.

It’s ok, I guess I’ll get used it

I've just ordered some to see how I get on with it. Need to shift some weight and hoping if I have one of these for lunch instead of what I normally have (crap normally!) it will help shift some of it.

Going to replace water with milk though.

No need at all... if you dont like the flavour, maybe a little low sugar chocolate powder.

Just make sure the water is cold... very cold.

I use the sweet freedom range to assist the flavour:

https://www.sainsburys.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/ser...

12-14 cals per teaspoon, so dont use much and very nice
