I consume between one and six Huel meals each day.
I use black edition and hot & savoury.
I’m still alive so far, I’m in decent shape and my numbers are all pretty good.

Interesting discussion - both sides of the discussion here...

I use it for convenience - when i'm in the office i'll have a shake for lunch. If i'm working from home i might have a hot and savoury for lunch.
Those two articles are pretty much what made me think about this. It was actually the "Ask the CEO" podcast that really got me thinking about it, as he was interviewing a doctor who was talking about this. In that podcast the doctor rubbished a few so called healthy ultra processed foods like flavoured probiotic yogurt.

Interestingly, they didn't ask about Huel... Probably because the podcast was sponsored by Huel rofl

How do you find your energy levels? I was only using it for one meal replacement a day but I found it didn't seem to give me any energy for the gym.

Can't comment on the gym, but I wouldn't exactly say it gave me any extra energy on a morning v's not having it or having something else.

I train every day and have a very active lifestyle. No problems.

I've just gone to put in an order only to find that the bar 3.1 has been discontinued and replaced with a different product.

The old bar was great because you could pocket it when cycling and was a convenient breakfast snack. The new one looks like a chocolate bar which won't last 5 mins outside on a warm day.

Does anyone have any alternative recommendations to the old bar 3.1?

If you hop on Reddit, Huel room, start a thread complaining. Many have.

Wouldn't be surprised if it's brought back. New bar is also much more expensive.

I don’t think it’s coming back. If it sold well enough it wouldn’t have been binned.

They replaced a meal replacement bar with a protein/chocolate bar. They scrapped their unique selling point.

Now they are competing with every other protein bar, being much more expensive.

New bar won't last long.

(The old bar wasn't a meal replacement and the new bar isn't a protein bar, both products are nutritionally complete snacks)

The new bar and a number of new products seem designed to take Huel from online to physical retail store sales.
