I like plain almonds actually.. what's so bad about them?
I don't have any excess weight but I would like to decrease the fat percentage and also get rid of break out on my face that appear way too often for someone far over 20. I've been working on cutting sugar and milk and thought my meals were quite balanced. I just started counting calories and also the protein-fat-carbs distribution. And it looks like my carbs intake is around 70% of daily meals! Then I have around 20% of proteins and just under 10% of fats. I don't know.. is it not OK? Should I cut down rice?
You say you're consuming less that 10% fat, and you want to reduce further? May be worth reading a few websites or books to get an understanding of a healthful diet.
Most will claim either high carb (or high fat) is best (polar opposites ), but you'll find very few recommending high protein which is what you'd end up with.
This topic is about ketogenic diet, which is high fat.
Okay, I’ve been pretty good in recent weeks and have found substitutes for many things. Cauliflower rice instead of ‘rice’, bean sprouts instead of noodles, I’ve even experimented with roasted cheddar ‘crisp’ substitutes with some success and a cream/cheese/berry mix for desert.
However, I’ve yet to find a decent substitute for a pizza or a carbonara which is the one pasta dish that I can eat all day.
Anyone got any suggestions for replacements for those sorts of things, or do you just have an ‘off’ meal if you find yourself fancying something like that?

Oh duuuuuude, have I got a treat for you!!
Buy a spiraliser, and make carbonara with courgette spaghetti (google it). Spiralise the courgette, microwave for just a couple of minutes until warm but not soft, then squeeze the water out and add it to your other ingredients, just like you'd do with the cooked pasta. The more water you can get out first, and the quicker you can get it stirred together and on the plate, the better (less runny) it will be.
I swear, I prefer it to "real" carbonara.
I call it "Onara". Carbonara without the carb.

I make it with sliced sweetheart cabbage now. Slice the cabbage, put cubed pancetta + a little butter in saucepan, brown, then add and saute the cabbage, add grated grano padano and two egg yolks. Chicken pizza or fathead dough. Both are amazing. However, I’ve yet to find a decent substitute for a pizza or a carbonara which is the one pasta dish that I can eat all day.

As above, https://www.dietdoctor.com/recipes/fat-head-pizza
If anyone has any suggestions for drinks, that's where I really struggle. My diet coke intake is now ridiculous and I need some ideas (other than water).

Why is that? I did a very high protein diet last year, almost eating just meat and eggs and I lost two stone and felt great. Kept it up for about six months properly but carbs crept back in over Christmas and I'm finding it hard to drop them out fully again.
Eggs are high in fat, so you would have been getting a lot of your energy from those.TartanPaint said:

All water?I quite like some of the fizzy waters for a change - can't remember the Italian one's name now. Also they contain some salt which is a bonus. At the pub I've been ordering soda with some real limes in. But dont tell the carb police about the limes. Most pubs dont charge for soda which is a bit embarrassing.

San Pellegrino ? I drink this but at £1p bottle only sparingly I quite like some of the fizzy waters for a change - can't remember the Italian one's name now. Their own-brand Ashbeck comes in 500ml bottles at 38p a pop.
I'm also keen on the french style 'sirop' concentrate, especially the lemon ones. Ocado/Waitrose do them from time to time, and I've come across them in Lidl and Aldi too. Just need to make sure they are the sugar free ones.

Been on the keto diet for nearly 4 weeks.
I definitely feel more energetic.
Weight loss is the odd one, I look in the mirror and don't see much difference but I have had to tighten my belt and start tying up jogging bottoms etc so it must be working!
I'm going to stick with it mainly for how good I feel at the moment.

I've seen elsewhere 'Cloud Bread' being suggested as a carb free alternative you can make yourself and use as pizza base or bap for a burger. However, I’ve yet to find a decent substitute for a pizza or a carbonara which is the one pasta dish that I can eat all day.

I haven't tried it myself yet as I just avoid carbs rather than doing swaps, but form people I know who have made it, they say it is a suitable alternative and takes the craving away.
I every so often have carb days where I dont worry about my consumption and might have a load of beer and a pizza. I find it gives me a boost, especially if the losses are starting to slow down when being strict LCHF

Exactly the same here. I've been doing it for 2 weeks and lost 10lb (started at 16 stone). Trousers noticeably looser! Loads of energy, feel alert etc etcI definitely feel more energetic.

1800 cal, 30g carbs, 140g protein, 120g fat. Most days I only hit 20 or 25g of carbs and now and again i'll creep up to 2000cal but it's still a defecit i suppose.
Eating lots of fish, lots of spinach, lots of eggs, drinking loads of water and coffee.
I miss beer. I love gin but my word, i miss beer.
