BANG! And they're off.
Some of you didn't state a target so I put my own figures in for you temporarily. Good luck everyone.
Good stuff looking forward to following long a should blow the target you set me, out of the water. Perfect day yesterday diet wise and went to my Sambo class last night to get thrown around. An added bonus on the scales this morning already dropped 4lb, happy days! Some of you didn't state a target so I put my own figures in for you temporarily. Good luck everyone.

don't just go with my target - theres no sandbagging here! Give me your real target for the quarter....Delighted with a 79.9 kg weigh-in this morning - this may be the slowest slow and steady ever, but it's definitely going in the right direction.
3 month aim of 78 kg, I'd love to manage 75 but realistically, slow and steady points to sustainable and that's the bit that actually matters.

Should we weigh in once a week fir the spreadsheet or doesn't it matter?
as little or as often as you want. I'll aim to put up a refreshed table every week. I was hit and miss with it in Q3 because I had fallen off the wagon.I have another tab of the sheet where i record my own weight on a daily basis. Many people say you shouldn't record daily due to the fluctuations (being potentially demoralising i suppose) and that once a week is enough. I prefer to see daily so I don't get a big disappointment at the end of a week (sometimes you just get seemingly static weeks!), and also i like to plot trendlines, extrapolations etc towards certain dates.
Anyway, what I mean by above is - I come on pistonheads pretty much daily, and I have my own weight tracking sheet open pretty much daily so i can include as much data as you like in the charts, just i won't post updates of it more than once a week.
So I have had a pretty disciplined first week, not going to lie its been tough, mainly using MFP to the full, and only 1 beer all week! But eaten some pretty nice things, Joe Wicks lean in 15 book has some pretty tasty things in it.
Oct 1st weigh in: 102.7kg
Oct 8th weigh in: 99.2kg
I think the progress will slow from now on, the body is probably just in shock, but pretty stoked with that!

Right, I failed miserably in both Q2 and Q3, I know I can do this as I dropped almost 5 kilos in January this year and that was pretty much down to a dry January as very little else changed, apart from a bit more running/jogging.
I'm due to return from my holiday in Thailand tomorrow night, I posted this in the hangover thread:
Coming to the end of a busy holiday in Thailand, at home I would drink pretty much (and too much) every night and wake up feeling a tad worse for wear, not properly rough but dry mouth, a bit groggy and feeling the effects for an hour or so.
Well whilst out here I've hardly drunk, some days I've not drunk anything at all, other days I've had a big bottle of Singha with my evening meal and then gone off exploring, but that's about it
Every morning I've woken up fresh as a daisy, and my sleeping heart rate has dropped dramatically, hopefully I can carry this on when I get home.
I've been here since the 30th so it'll be interesting to see what my weight is when I return, I've not over indulged on food and I've done loads of walking,
I was around 101-102 kg in the week leading up to the holiday, I'm going to aim for a 10 kg drop by the end of the year so let's call it 90 kg by the end of the year.
I'll update my weight Wednesday morning.
