Really quite surprised and chuffed with this week, I knew it would slow down anyway from week 1, but throw in 2 nights away with work and eating out, one of those being a FiveGuys, and a few beers here and there, I thought staying static would have been a result! I have got the turbo trainer out now though, so maybe I did enough to keep it downwards! Chuffed!

Had dinner at the Ritz on Saturday night, so plenty of rich food and booze (not to mention hotel breakfast the next morning) meant I was static for the week.
Ah well, booze and fun free until christmas holidays now, which is 8.5 weeks and hopefully therefore 8.5kg.
Heres the update - next week we'll be a little over three weeks in and so I'll put up the chart as well as the table.

I'm down from 86kg to 80kg but taken over 4 months so far. I'm going for slow and steady as I want this to be sustainable.
I have never been a snacker but realised I get hungry then gorge. So secret to my progress so far is eating more. But making better choices. I used to get home from work hungry, then over eat.
Porridge for breakfast and massive salad at lunch in office with balsamic as dressing and fish, eggs or chicken. I usually have a handful of fruit and nuts in morning and afternoon.
Weekends I find harder as with the kids so just try to avoid over eating but less concerned with what I eat.
It is taking time, but progress is being made and I definitely do not feel I'm on a diet. It's a lifestyle change.

Phew, lost 0.5 kg this week so down to 72.9. It's definitely more variable now I'm close to target however that is also to do with me having a few more slip-ups. I'm less strict with myself than I was at the beginning of this journey but I'm not too fussed as life would be pretty boring if I was good all the time. As long as I don't slip into my bad habits full time I should be able to keep the weight off. Hopefully...
