Not quite back to starting level but at least I am heading in the right direction again - down from 73.8 to 73.4 this week

It is good to know I can recover from wee slip-ups though. Hopefully now it will all be downhill for the rest of the quarter...

Yeah right! biggrin

An odd week for me though maintaining last weeks weight was actually a surprise - still 93.5kg. Must do better :-)

Really quite surprised and chuffed with this week, I knew it would slow down anyway from week 1, but throw in 2 nights away with work and eating out, one of those being a FiveGuys, and a few beers here and there, I thought staying static would have been a result! I have got the turbo trainer out now though, so maybe I did enough to keep it downwards! Chuffed!

74.6 kg for me. Not a perfect week, but not bad either, so not clear on that one. Well, must try harder then...

Lunchtime run ahoy!

Had dinner at the Ritz on Saturday night, so plenty of rich food and booze (not to mention hotel breakfast the next morning) meant I was static for the week.

Ah well, booze and fun free until christmas holidays now, which is 8.5 weeks and hopefully therefore 8.5kg.

Heres the update - next week we'll be a little over three weeks in and so I'll put up the chart as well as the table.

Latest weigh in at 92.5kg.

Keto diet continues to impress me, in particular the complete eradication of any sugar crashes I used to have between meals.

It’s terrible for intense sports and gym performance but moderate cardio is fine and weights still ok.

Still remain stuck at 80kg.

I'm away in Belgium this weekend doing a 24hr race (in a Citroen C1!) so I doubt I'll be eating well (chips and mayo if previous visits to Spa are anything to go by).

Diet reboot next week I feel.

Not been doing too well at this gym thing, just not going enough and struggling to make time to get away from the desk to do so.

Still at 123 kg's though which is ok I guess

100.4 this morning but I have to admit, I haven't been particularly good when it comes to alcohol, however I am back to my twice weekly bootcamp sessions now after my 2 weeks away from it whilst on holiday.

I'm down from 86kg to 80kg but taken over 4 months so far. I'm going for slow and steady as I want this to be sustainable.

I have never been a snacker but realised I get hungry then gorge. So secret to my progress so far is eating more. But making better choices. I used to get home from work hungry, then over eat.

Porridge for breakfast and massive salad at lunch in office with balsamic as dressing and fish, eggs or chicken. I usually have a handful of fruit and nuts in morning and afternoon.

Weekends I find harder as with the kids so just try to avoid over eating but less concerned with what I eat.

It is taking time, but progress is being made and I definitely do not feel I'm on a diet. It's a lifestyle change.

It’s been a hard week with sick kids, sick mil in hospital and a conference presentation so I am quite pleased to have plateaued overall. I thought I had gained.

Pleased that I've managed to lose this week or two as I didn't feel like I'd done enough so a good way to start the weekend!

Phew, lost 0.5 kg this week so down to 72.9. It's definitely more variable now I'm close to target however that is also to do with me having a few more slip-ups. I'm less strict with myself than I was at the beginning of this journey but I'm not too fussed as life would be pretty boring if I was good all the time. As long as I don't slip into my bad habits full time I should be able to keep the weight off. Hopefully...

I knew the 3rd week loss wasn't going to come, working away, had 2 nights out, and the disciplined eating whilst away with work really didn't happen. Domino's DOH!

October 16th: 98.2kg
October 23rd: 98.7kg

Not a disaster though, got my food plan for the week.... time to kick on again!
