Cheers guys. I've actually lost 2st 0.5lb in 9 weeks. 10% of my starting weight

Final target is 15st 10lbs but have set myself an interim of under 17st by Christmas

My momentum on the pitch still appears to be the same as the speed is increasing as the weight drops. Most mobile I have been on the field in years!

Currently at 75.4kg.

Weight is fluctuating 2/3kg up and down quite regularly now I am monitoring closer. Strange stuff.

you've lost the best part of 2 stone in a month - what eating plan are you following, D&V?

Some good progress, well done.

15.1 this morning, holding station, perhaps eating a bit more but have settled into a different mindset than before, I really think whether I want something and try to keep to a mentally totted up number of calories, I will skip breakfast if I had a big meal, stuff like that so staying stable.

Need to go for it to get rid of the final stone but fairly happy at this weight so not that motivated to go down, will probably focus in the new year and just maintain.

Checking in early this week to report down to 72.6 kg. I knew it was going to be slow this quarter but 0.3 kg? really? irked In one month I'm down just 0.6 kg and I used to manage roughly that a week. And I'm sticking to my regime (although there was the work slip-up I guess)

I know it's because I'm close to target weight and building muscle thanks to regular gym trips but it also brings home the fact that I really don't need to eat a huge amount of food to maintain current weight. *sigh* and I love food too

Oh well, I should think of the money I'm saving and what I can spend it on. I think a trip to the classifieds is in order biggrin

I'm finding the same thing. Although I'm sticking fairly well to the regime that saw me lose 5kg easily in the last quarter, since I've added weights to the gym routine and I seem to be on 80kg no matter what I do.
And I'm also depressed that as I get older (47 now) less food seems to go further, a long weekend racing in Spa with a team all younger than me made me realise how much less I have to put away than some of the racing snakes that seem to chuck pizza and beer down their necks with no concern.

Frustrating isn't it. Even just 10 years ago I wouldn't be able to exist on what I eat now and yet my weight is staying almost constant on ~1500 calories a day. The plan was always to up it to 2000 when I hit target weight and maintain at that but I suspect I'd gain kg if I did

I found when I up it, I dont go up unless I over eat, I aim for 2000 but dont worry if it goes over, 1500 isnt enough for a grown man surely ? not long term.

Did anyone see that thing the other night where a load of very fat people went on holiday, I did feel for them, there was a lot of tears and self recrimination, but little talk of doing anything about it.

FFS, as well as finding it harder to drop the weight now I've passed 40, having the will power seems to have dropped off too.

I used to be able to put my mind to it with weight loss and stick to it no problem, now a week or two in and I find myself making all sorts of excuses.

Dropped a kilo in a week, put it back on in a week, so I'm back where I started.

And I'm not sure what the hell is going on this week, but I'm eating like a pregnant elephant and just can't seem to stop feeling hungry, no bloated feeling after eating load of carbs no feeling nausea after eating a load of crap. Just. Constantly. Hungry. I never feel full, or even close.

I had 2 lunches yesterday, and seem to be craving toast and butter, I'm definitely not pregnant though because I'm a man.

I think I might be 1/2 bear and my body recons I'm about to hibernate or something.

83kgs.

I'm really aching after Tuesday's gym session, so much so putting on my (now a little too tight) suit jacket isn't exactly easy!

Had meant to get a gym session today, however work has got in the way, such is life!

At the risk of exposing myself to unwarranted messages (not from you I should add) not every person who has an interest in cars is a bloke - in the same way not all of us can afford nice cars and some of us live vicariously through others.

Anyway, back on topic. Had to make myself go to the gym this afternoon as the desire to hibernate was strong. I managed it but unfortunately I hadn't realised how low the battery on my mp3 player was and it died 20 minutes in. Kiss FM, the station of choice at the gym, is truly awful but I'm proud to say I stuck it out and saw the session through.

I have since ruined it with g&ts and cheese but at least I earned it first biggrin

83.1 kg for me this morning. Not much of a loss - I've been eating a lot cleaner though my appetite seems to have increased so I need to work on my portion sizes/willpower!

92.1kg this morning. Still a downward trend but was hoping for a bigger loss. Apparently a plateau is normal on a Keto diet so hopefully I’ll push through it. Not sure I’ll make my 85kg target for Christmas.
