I've a feeling he's talking about the fellas that's been on BodyBuildingRev / Strength Wars
Used to love their vids, the famous pl/ow/sm/bb bodyweight squat one was posted many times a few years back, it inspired me to try it one time, I posted my number here. I did an acceptable number, comparable to those in the vid, beat the sm I think and the third guy.today was cut short but I did the front squat/deadlight superset from here
https://www.t-nation.com/training/3-workout-challe...
5 reps of both for 8 rounds, 10 minute time limit. Started at 62.5/102.5 weeks ago like the article says, but I'VE got it up to 80/120 today. Had a minute left as well
Then I did;
For max rounds
2x Clean and jerk (62.5)
2x Toes to bar
Add 2 reps per movement each successive round
10 minute time cap
from here
http://www.woddrive.com/list-of-crossfit-wods.html
that was hard, gonna have to move that because it was too hard on the lumbar and lungs post the first one.
Then instead of finishing with team richeys arms routine I had to go help with the shopping.

I did pulling yesterday. Pushing tomorrow which I think will be more of a struggle!
I did do a pretty physical job one of the weeks I wasn’t in the gym, which probably helped.
I just want to get back into the routine of it. I find it makes a real difference to my health and attitude.

Had to go back a step on inclined one arm press ups but not really surprising as I had only just made the step down before the break.
Worked up to a 125kg squat, new PR for competition rules squat. Definitely felt so much better than 6 weeks ago when I first started the low bar, wide stance squats.

Awesome!https://youtu.be/HonYgpJZFyw
Looked comfortable and more there!
Managed a 14.3s 100m row 2md attempt today after my deadlift/back workout. I think I could pip 14s if rowing machine wasn't moving about so much.
It's on my insta story as I didn't record it, someone else did and put it on there.
I was expecting to be breathless but it seems with all the conditioning work it barely fazed me, had 2min rest between the 2 attempts, 14.6 first time with the machine moving about 10m forward

I put 2 x 25kgs plates on each of the two bits at the front.
Haven't had a crack at 100m for a bit...a 100 or 500 attempt popped up on my yt this week, claimed to be the fastest, it was fst.
Brian Shaw has the world record at 13.3 I believe.Haven't had a crack at 100m for a bit...a 100 or 500 attempt popped up on my yt this week, claimed to be the fastest, it was fst.
I need to learn how to row efficiently too, could probably shave a couple 10ths off coupled with the thing not moving!
Although a pointless feat really, doesn't translate to much, just bragging rights

I’m sure Brian’s time was recently beaten by .1 of a second or something.I need to learn how to row efficiently too, could probably shave a couple 10ths off coupled with the thing not moving!

One of the things the coach was saying was i tend to keep my chin up which was causing me to hyperextend at the top, then as i dropped to a point where i didn't have the mobility to remain hyperextended, my back would collapse a bit. Something to work on for next week as he's going to add tempo pause squats to the mix and just force me to keep looking a few meters ahead. Got max test for bench tonight then deadlifts on Thursday, got to remember the neutral neck for deadlifts.Looked comfortable and more there!

Good form would help on the 500m sprint, from what I've seen, the 100m is just raw strength, one guy was all back, barely moved legs.I need to learn how to row efficiently too, could probably shave a couple 10ths off coupled with the thing not moving!

12.7 I've just found! https://youtu.be/WUWJfyTdEGo
Have any of you guys ever paid for an online training programme?
I really like watching Jeff Cavaliere and the AthleanX videos, and his emails have been building up ready for some kind of Black Friday offer later this week.
The thing is, his free videos* are so comprehensive, almost always detailing sets/reps etc., that I wonder what more can be added from the paid for product?
I've spent thousands on PT sessions over the last few years, so I'm not averse to paying for advice, but that was always very much focused on me and my specific needs/opportunities/limitations. An online pack will be much more generic?
Thoughts?
* ...and, of course, there are millons of other free videos!

Bench test last night.
Bar x 10
60kg x 5
80kg x 3
100kg x 2
110kg x 1
120kg x 1
127.5kg x 1
132.5kg x 1 - https://youtu.be/0TMoy-sAqVA
137.5kg x failure - https://youtu.be/VbzuMobYgz0
I should have gone for a smaller jump to 135kg but I went to 137.5 as 132.5 felt good and went up quick and 137.5 would have equalled my all time PB. I did get half way up on thefailure but as soon as I hit the sticking point and tried to grind it up, I lost control of the bar a bit and had to be saved by the spotter.

The 137.5 attempt looked off- kinda paused at the bottom and then off line- based on the 132.5 I'd say it definitely could have gone.Bar x 10

If you fancy, you can run my programing? No problem to draw one up, it's not easy, but it's effective- I've a few people running them now, though they're all tailored to the individual. The idea with the 137.5 attempt was to do a competition style with the spotter giving a press command at the bottom, hence the pause but I think if I had kept it on the right path, I might have gotten it. The 132.5 attempt was a touch and go, light tap on the chest and then push back up.For me- push>
