Jamie is a grown up and knows I always take the piss out of crossfit. Pretty sure we’ve even chatted about it. If reference to a kipping strict press (which isn’t a thing) upset him, I am sure he will say and will receive an apology.

Utd have put out a suicidally bad line up. There must be some hidden genius at play...or something.

Push>

Bench: 140kg x 13 (2 RP)
Dips: +40kg x 15
Seated Strict: 90x 8
DB Shoulder press: 40's x 7
Cable Fly: 3x F
BB Rear Delts: 60kg RPF

Not bad. Focusing on pressing strength, which got way tougher as the session progressed....

All good guys! Only thing I'm upset about is how crap my fitness has become after an Easter of excess!

Tough one yesterday;

5x3 Back squat @135

8 minute AMRAP - 8 STOH (50kg) + 50 Double unders - managed 6 rounds, felt good.

Then the horror show started...

8 minute AMRAP - 12 jumping Goblet squats + 26 Kettle bell Snatch (24kg). Had to reduce the weight after one round and about 4 minutes staring at the fking kettlebell....

Down 7kg in about 2 weeks, just dropping weight until I can get back to it properly.
Saturday I won a local strongman comp, although I was most definitely trophy hunting laugh
Just against locals for charity so was good fun.
Tuesday 300kg deadlift single approx 90% lift, should've been more but feeling the affects of low test and dieting.
Wednesday 150kg push press, missed 165 as my knee buckled on the dip, tried again but head had gone.
I did capture this jump between sets though, like a overweight ninja laugh

Yesterday a 262.5kg squat approx 90% lift but fell forward coming up making it much slower than it should've been.
Today is log strict press (or just strict press if my friend doesn't turn up to play on the log) about 90% again, hoping for around 120kg+

Tried a compression cuff? - cerberus sell them for forearm pain.

130kg strict press on log tonight, about a 90% lift again so pretty pleased with that.

Squat: 227.5kg x1

Hybrid workout, flat bench 3x4 @ 120kg then 4@110, 5@100, slight incline dumbbell 5x38,5x42,5x44,5x48. Seated chest press, 65kg per side 2x5, incline dumbbell 5x10 @32kg, 3x8@32kg. Incline flyes 3x10 very slow 20kg.. Strangely still felt really flat, no 'pump' after. Just easing myself back into heavier work.

Just watching the vid on Insta reminds me of an issue I need advice on.

With dumbbells in each hand and fingers facing forward, I can press overhead with no issues.
If I turn the weights so fingers are facing my ears, I get an impingement (on left arm) on the front edge(?) of my delt, just above my armpit.

Any web-based diagnoses?

Massage and stretch your lats, pecs and traps- should remedy it. I have to do that before I can put the log overhead.

And I mean massage/roll them HARD. Barbell smash for the traps (google will through up a vid)

Pain of full supination of forearm can be long head biceps tendonitis, the fact that it hurts near your front delt on half supination suggests it could be something like that. There are easy stretches on Youtube.
