Been doing 5-3-1 BBB and have set PBs on all my main lifts
Really want to keep on it but I'm too fat and need to cut down. Last time I tried 531 on a diet it ended in injury so gonna have to back off a bit:-(
Go on your diet when you hit a progression plateau.

"They should call it an LOL-sit hold - because no-one can do this!"

Though the roflcopter was launched at mid-room hand stands!

Managed to get my front rack position for overhead sorted and had a cracking session.
3x4 @140kg but ended up doing 5 on the last set, nearly carried on but realised I was meant to stop biggrin

Well, unusual update- everything was going great, on track, strength decent, very very lean.

Then, worsening digestive issues, lethargy, diarrhoea, worse worse worse.... and here I am, with a severe flare up of ulcerative Colitis, day 4 in hospital- probably here the same again before I’m out.

I’ve been ill before, but never like this, thought I was dying, still feel horrendous mostly.

Likely something I’ve always had, as it adds up, but prep maybe brought about a flare up. I’d not wish this on anyone, just feel dead.

But, things are going the right way, and progress is being made. So, I expect another 3-4 days before I can get home.

Then, as always, I’ll rebuild!

Hope everyone else is going well and on track!

Marcus, best wishes to your Mum.

Commenting here coz I suspected it would get lost in the other thread.

Hope you're doing ok too, I remember your past commentary re your Mum, so I can imagine this being an emotional rollercoaster for you.

Thanks Jimi! she's tough as old boots, more embarrassed than anything for being a burden.

For those of use who don't train at home - are you still training at the gym?

Or has social distancing kicked in for you?

I was just about to ask same question. I went for a wee run today rather than gym .

I’m planning to keep going in. Was surprised how busy my gym was this week.

All the older regulars still seem to be coming too.

Yes both my wife and I are still going to the gym, totally deserted today, but each piece of equipment we used we cleaned before and after use.

During which time they won't be charging you?
