I struggled at my peak strength. 300 just wouldn't come all the way up yet I could pull 280 for reps!! Something psychological at play there. Please note, long time ago now and al not go near those numbers again!! 292.5 was my max, no belt, no straps just chalk and a good pull!!
That's strong!
I think the most beltless and strapless I've every done is 280kg but I don't like doing things beltless.
330kg is the most I've done strapless but for me there's no need to create extra risks so I use straps especially as it's allowed in comps.

May give powerlifting a go some time though.

Thanks man. I use straps now and a double overhand grip rather than staggered but I haven't deadlifted this year!! ...and last year was lighter stuff. You keep it up man, showimg some impressive progress.

Meh. Didn't quite manage it.

75 in two sets, then a further 34. So 109 in three sets.

Must try harder. Next time it'll go biggrin

PT session in the park. Pull ups, dips, TRX rows, lunges etc etc with a stagger in between rounds (meant to be a run but holy hell I'm unfit!). This PT session each week has been my saving grace since the gym shut, but once a week is nothing like enough.

Back to the gym 7am tomorrow, still just easing my way back in. Maintained body weight during lockdown but composition has really deteriorated.

Cheers dude.

Pretty irked with myself, coz I know I'm capable of 100 in two sets, but tonight just wasn't my night.

My excuse is that I've dropped strength in lockdown biggrin

230kg 3x3 squat tonight.
Moved well but felt hard.

Tomorrow I'm most excited for, get to max out my strict press biggrin
I just need to learn the DD grind for this.

30 minutes of swim time in very rough seas, water was proper cold too, one thing I have noticed is that my shoulder mobility has improved greatly since I’ve started swimming, absolutely no pain from them ether, also had a really hard session on Zwift, legs are destroyed.
