Nice chest session at the gym yesterday, haven't been in the week for ages, spent most of the evening benching working up to 150kg for 4 which was a surprise.

Today was a swim across the bay then a proper hard race on Zwift.

Thanks!

My build up was 3x60, 1x 100, 150, 200, 250, 300

I should really be more sensible biggrin
But I’d decided before I pulled it that it’d go.
And 307.5 will go when I try that too!

That's your heavy frankenbell swings paying dividends yes

If you hadn't been doing so much KB based hinge movements at home, I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be this far ahead with the deads.

Cap'n Obvious, reporting, SIR! hehe

Awesome!
And what Jimi said.

That's epic to bounce back so quick and the pull is so smooth too!

18" deadlifts today, for a change.
Worked up to a nasty 240kg.

I’ve been doing full body workouts for a while now and although making progress I am getting a bit bored / conscious that the workouts can take a while depending on how much I want to fit in.

I like the idea of Push/pull/legs 2x a week.

Anyone know of a decent plan for this routine?

Lovely early morning swim, massive high tide made it fun, 1km around the bay, Then a bike ride with the guys, some proper monsters killing my legs tonight.

What are you goals and where are you training?

If at home what kind of equipment have you got?

Reddit is an excellent training resource that seems to embrace new ways of training and the science which some of the bodybuilding forums seem to ignore in my experience.

Because of a change at work for a while, I’m now walking about 90 mins most days. I don’t know whether it’s that and/or the high rep squats, but my resting heart rate has dropped from 62 to 59 over two weeks.

The high rep squats are getting quite unpleasant. I did 20 x 85kg on Sunday, so it’s 21 this coming weekend. I’m currently squatting twice per week (Sunday and Wednesday) with the Wed day being an easy day. Deadlifts on Friday.

Last night:
Squat: 1 x 140kg; 5 x 120kg; 10 x 100kg
DB Bench: 4 x 8 @ 40kg
Some rows and abs.

Will be the walking, especially if it's fairly brisk.

I think so, too. Cracking exercise - zero recovery cost and very pleasant.
