Yesterday evening:

38km, 711m climbing, av. 22km/h

Today:

35km, 460 climbing, av. 25km/h

Legs were feeling it when I woke today, so more climbing had ruined me.

5w FTP increase today tho, which was a nice surprise!

Squat, ohp, deadlift and pullups. I'm quite tired now.

Yesterday, 45km on the bike, then a long swim, today was swim then gym, db bench, new pr with 110 pounders, 5 reps which I'm very happy with, my previous best was done at a much heavier bodyweight, then a single set of preachers to finish off.

Back after nearly two weeks.

9KM run. It occurred to me, whilst breathing out of my arse on yet another fking hill, that I’m now carrying an extra 16kg on these runs compared to 2019. biglaugh

Currently sat in the garden with a glass of wine and looking forward to an easy barbell session tomorrow.

My last deadlift session for a few months now to see if it lets my niggle heal up since everything else hasn't worked.
Just missed 400kg at the knee!
360kg moved so well I was convinced it was there but hit my dead spot, if it just went over the knee I could have hitched it but I'll take the speedy 360 for now!

Just some attempts at PBs today before I get back to routine next week after a break.

110kg bench - sloppy but I know I can lift it now. I fking dropped the bar and had to let the weights slide off to push it off. What a fking mess.

100kg squat - more in the tank here but I felt I needed a spotter after I stacked it minutes beforehand..

140kg deadlift - Overhand grip with just chalk, I had some issues with this so thanks all for advice. Need more weight plates now!

Yesterday, shoulders, standing OHP 70kgs for 4 reps which I'm super pleased with, 20 rep squat 100kg x2 then a 2k swim followed by my first race on Zwift for ages, one month of riding a minimum of an hour on the road has pushed my strength way up.
