John Ng again this year, will try and stick with it this time.

08/01 91.4kg, did a 5k run tonight, the first time in quite a while I've been out for one. Killer.

I've been in agony the last 3 evenings from bloating a wind! I'm assuming it's all the fibre that my guts aren't used to but I've never had pain like this before.

Anyone else had similar when suddenly changing to a much cleaner diet?

Did another 90 mins on my bike last night, feels good not just for the exercise, but also for de-stressing and giving my mind something else to focus on. Figure that if I can do that three times a week, that'll really help all round.

I find Buscopan works well, or peppermint tablets / tea.

Quite a funny day of eating yesterday. No fixed meals, what seemed to me to be lots of little snacks here and there, followed by a single chicken steak when I got home last night. Jumped on the scales expecting a gain but actually down to 106.3, thats exactly 2 kg since starting last week.

Starting to feel better within myself, much less bloated and less of a fat fk biggrin. Obviously lots of work to go yet but we're heading in the right direction.

Weight is a funny thing, yesterday I ate as I normally do, yet I was very active; far more active than I have been this past week, doing over 20,000 steps, this morning I am heavier than I was yesterday!

W1: 100.2kg
W2: 98.2kg

2kg down, 8kg to go. Been very good and not broken from the diet at all and the cravings are starting to subside. Anecdotally i've been proper grouchy at work and this appears to have settled down too.

No change here, 15.9, eating loads of crap as have had a cold, not been to the gym, feel better today so will go tonight and hopefully thats the start of things tt come, hate feeling lardy. Weirdly, exactly the same weight as the same date last year checking back on the old thread, that is quite heartening as should soon get back to 14 something with a bit of effort, much more comfortable under 15, tailored shirts dont pull round my gut biggrin

Been quite good all day, went to the gym, had a decent dinner, then quarter of a Bakewell tart and a small Double Decker, oops, I said last year I was finding not eating sweet stuff easy, am not this year, need to go cold turkey and not buy any more.

Hopefully early enough to get involved in this one.
Current weight 16 st 6lb
Target weight 13 st 7lb
Target weight end Q1 call it 14 6.

Last year after I broke my knee 2016 just went up and up, was really unhappy with myself and appearance but there was always a reason to drink / binge with work nights.

This year, no excuses!
Holiday booked for 30/06 with the intention of being able to take my top off without fear.
I've got a week in Spain and two weeks in Cyprus looming this summer, I feel your pain!
Is it bad I’ve done it on purpose? The last time I let myself get to this state I worked to a point in time, it helped give me the motivation to get my arse out of bed those cold winter mornings!

Since joining have bought myself a Vivoactive 3, making me really conscious of my activity.
- Sunday, 18 holes and a 3 mile dog walk
- Monday, spin class
- today - 11k steps around London today and a 3 mile fast dog walk.

Weight have been tracking daily looking for a low point of the week.
Best so far has been 16,3. Be nice to get under the 16 mark for good in the next couple of weeks but I’m on a work summit in st Pete’s next week.

14' 2 now, so a 3 lb start.

Considering that my weekend wasn't especially well behaved, I'll take 3 lbs off for the week as a starter for ten.

The first week is done, now the going gets harder and slower....

03/01 103.8kg
10/01 102.4kg

So the first week brings a 1.4kg loss; heading in the right direction.

My week weigh in tomorrow but it's looking quite good at the moment. 105.7 this morning from a starting weight of 108.3 (roughly five and a half pounds). Back training tonight so that should knock of a little more in time for the official weigh day.

As I said previously 105 kg is the very short-term target, 100 kg by middle of February, 95 kg by end of March.

That should set me up nicely for losing another 5 kg between April and June ready for the summer.

After a serious push over the past 10 days I finally hit my target.

Started in May last year at 84kg and today I hit 65kg!

Huge diet and lifestyle change including no snacking, lots of salad, veg and chicken and lots of exercise (at least 5 times a week, covering min of 30 miles per week walking/running).

Now I have a new target of 63kg which will probably be the final one!

As of this morning, I'm 88kg which is about 5kg over where I'd like to be. I'm training for a 5k in March and a 10k in May, so that combined with getting back to my normal diet after a messy 2017 should get me back to where my trousers are comfortable smile
