I'm in.
15st 9lb (99kg) on New Year's Day... The heaviest ever.
Aim is to get to 13st (82.5kg) by big family holiday at the end of June and see how I feel, may need to go further.
Dry January is in full effect, and I'm joining my wife in going Vegan for January as much as is humanly possible (I work with food).
Wish me luck!!
Well... Still going! Been strong on both Dry January and the Veganism... I'm actually enjoying the challenge and the need to plan ahead of time.15st 9lb (99kg) on New Year's Day... The heaviest ever.

I've also upped my walking, currently averaging 13-14k steps a day.
Weighed myself last night and down to 15st 2.75lb (96.5kg)... Very happy with progress so far!
First pleasant surprise of the project has been that my 3.3 mile run at lunch was done in 10:16 minute miles and wasn't the total disaster I feared. OK I won't win any races, but for a first run out for months, that's a solid start.
Combined with walking to the station I will have propelled my self about 6 miles today

After a serious push over the past 10 days I finally hit my target.
Started in May last year at 84kg and today I hit 65kg!
Huge diet and lifestyle change including no snacking, lots of salad, veg and chicken and lots of exercise (at least 5 times a week, covering min of 30 miles per week walking/running).
Now I have a new target of 63kg which will probably be the final one!
Well done, that is a great result. Started in May last year at 84kg and today I hit 65kg!

I'm in! 85kg this morning weighed at the gym after a circuits class. I'm 188cm so I'm not overweight by any stretch, but I seem to carry a lot of it around my middle which as we all know is not a good sign...
My target is only 2kg, and to 'redistribute' it a bit. I've entered the Spring Wolf Run at the end of April and I'm thinking about entering a local sprint tri at the start of April, so that should keep the motivation up. I finished couch 2 5k in November so I've downloaded the fastest 5k follow on podcast, which should also help with my Parkrun times. It seems like a lot of things to change, but I know it is just a routine change and as I slipped into a quite unhealthy routine easily it 'should' be easy to slip into a healthy eating and exercising routine.
I'm on the wagon as November / December was quite booze heavy, but I don't have a time frame for that, just as long as possible. Diet is starting to get back to something resembling healthy. Breakfast in December was mostly a Ginsters pasty, share bag of crisps and a can of Monster! Not everyday, but often enough for me to feel like sh*t about it.
Good luck to everyone.

84kg today after circuits again this morning. Not a bad start, but extra motivation happened yesterday - I've dropped a belt hole! I am more happy with that than the weight loss.My target is only 2kg, and to 'redistribute' it a bit. Made it through last weekend without any alcohol - miracle! Diet has been good (apart from a bag of crisps Tuesday lunch time), water consumption is healthy.
I've signed up for a 10k run on 28th Jan, and a 30 mile sportive on 18th Feb so I have a reason to keep eating well and exercising. next week will be a challenge with '2nd Christmas' with the side of the family I didn't see on actual Christmas...
As someone said before there is some great progress happening on this thread, and as much as he irritates me Joe Wicks does have a point when he says weight loss is a journey not a race. Although I'm sure he blagged that from someone else!

I really want a sausage sandwich.
There. I said it.
Do it!!There. I said it.
Add a packet of crisps, a banana and maybe a twix and then you are looking at easily doubling your lunch calories, it's quite frightening really how quickly they can build up if you don't manage what you are eating.
I can have 3 scrambled eggs at 7:00 ish and they will see me through till lunch easily; 210 calories, however when I used to eat muesli, which has similar calories (maybe slightly more), I couldn't make lunch time without a snack.
It's the same with lunch; I have salad leaves, cherry tomatoes, pepper, red onion, chicken and full fat mayo; circa 380 calories, I will also snack on a banana, apple and satsuma, this will take me to dinner easily, back in the day though I would have a sandwich and a packet of crisps for lunch but I'd be starving within a couple of hours, even after my fruit, so I'd go over to the garage and grab a few bits there to see me through till dinner.

Since joining have bought myself a Vivoactive 3, making me really conscious of my activity.
- Sunday, 18 holes and a 3 mile dog walk
- Monday, spin class
- today - 11k steps around London today and a 3 mile fast dog walk.
Weight have been tracking daily looking for a low point of the week.
Best so far has been 16,3. Be nice to get under the 16 mark for good in the next couple of weeks but I’m on a work summit in st Pete’s next week.
Ok ok ok, bit of a false start here.- Sunday, 18 holes and a 3 mile dog walk

So I was off work last week, weighing myself erm, after nature had taken its course. This week with the early starts I’ve decided the most efficient way is to weight myself as soon as I wake.
Sticking around the 16,6 mark annoyingly considering the eaten amounts and exercise but I hope that this is muscle swelling from spin
This week so far:
3x spin
2x 3 mile dog walks
Average of 1,800 calories per day with only 10% carbs.

5'8" so at 84KG I was definitely getting tubby, but at 65 felling MUCH better and looking much better. I will go a little lower and try to maintain which historically has been difficult for me (and many others). What height are you as 20kg is a big drop?.
