Not upset at maintaining this week, in fact I am rather pleased as a fair amount of cake was eaten, back to being extra strict this week.

I'm 6ft 4

And thanks for the nice comments everyone! I found it tough at the start of the year as myself and my partner split up, and she was the real driving force behind the weight loss (she lost 6 stone in 13 months through slimming world) and I fell off the wagon in a big way, but I feel like I'm back on top of it all again!

Top effort there another latecomer here. I'm getting on it after returning from a couple of weeks holiday (all inclusive!)

I'll have a bit of a guess at 15st4 (6ft) should be pretty accurate. Aiming for 14st which I did get to about 4 years ago and it's crept back on.

The enemy is beer. I really enjoy a beer but I think I've realised I need to cut it out at least to give myself a kick start. Will report in in 10 days or so going to properly log progress. I'm going to measure weight and also belly circumference as this is the main area for me to tackle. Heading towards 40 it's amazing how much the way I carry weight has changed too.

Updating as I am feeling thoroughly pleased with myself smile

(Edited out a few weeklies)

04/05 16st 8
10/05 16st 7
17/05 16st 4
24/05 16st 2
31/05 16st 0

23 lbs in total or 10.4kg (I like pounds, it sounds more biggrin )

Which was my target for mid August orginally.

Still using MFP, weighing portions etc. Around 1300/1400 calories per day and trying to keep under the limits on sugar and carbs particularly. It's been pleasing that I have eaten out once a week in most of the nine weeks and with some careful choices it hasn't had much impact at all. A bit of exercise as well, once a week to the gym and I am working up to doing a parkrun with a mate so have been doing laps of a local park for the last couple of weeks

Total loss - 12.7 kg / 28 lb

Its been a difficult week to be honest. I was ill most of Saturday which I'm not ashamed to admit made me want to comfort eat Sunday / BH Monday. Also I'm struggling with an injury to my ribs picked up in training so any form of cardio or weight lifting has been off the table. Although my eating hasn't been awful, I've certainly been eating the wrong foods and last night I took my daughter to the cinema so we had tea out and then sweets. In fact yesterday was the first day in ages I have consciously eaten over 1800 calories.

I've made a resolution to get back on it this week, starting with a 6k run this morning. We are taking my youngest away to London at the weekend so hopefully plenty of walking and sensible food choices should keep me on track. I'll also try to get at least 4 gym / cardio sessions in between now and next week.

Well done everyone else, there is some cracking numbers being put up.

I'm joining in!

Discussion with doctor this morning, my fatty liver disease has flared up again, so advice is to cut booze and drop some weight.

I used to gym a fair bit, mainly weights, but have been lacking in actually training, but have continued to eat like I have been! So, dropping to 2100 calories, gym 4 times a week, including some cardio sessions.

Current weight:

01/06 - 87.9kg

Maintained and I'm happy with that as I've had more than a fair share of drinks over the last week. Back on the bike this week before going on holiday to Spain on Sunday for a lads trip. Not looking forward to the weigh in after that!

Joining the party late here, but I'm in.

Started the diet after realising how things had crept up on me over the last decade. Not the heaviest I've been but within half a stone.

19/05/18 - 92.08kg
07/06/18 - 90.26 kg

Trying a mixed approach of diet, exercise (running, exercise bike and weights) and cutting out the beer. In addition to the essentials, I reckon I was eating a couple of choc bars a day (or equivalent in biscuits/cake) drinking 2-3 beers most evenings, and rarely doing any strenuous exercise. I wasn't putting on weight at that level, so figure if I can cut out the chocolate and beer and do some form of training 4-5 evening a week it should lead to some weight loss, although I may have to start being a bit more strict if the weight loss plateaus.

Main goal is to get rid of the beer gut, and I've got about 12 weeks to do it before my holiday. I want to try to do it without losing muscle, but unfortunately it seems like that might be something I have to live with to some extent - just don't want to lose too much good weight in the process.

Not the greatest week diet wise to be honest, didnt get my cardio sessions but I've tried to stick at 1800 calories / day. Weighed in last night comfotably under 100 kg which was my first goal. Next goal is 95 kg by mid-July

I missed a weigh in last week as I was away, and I don't think it would have been good news either, very happy to lose again as May had been a difficult month for dieting. I now have a straight run until early august when I go on holiday, which was my first aim to of lost weight for when I started this, beach body here I come!

No alcohol, sweets, crisps etc etc etc since last week of April. I'm surprised its not coming off quicker, and I suspect carbs are the problem (have soup and a roll for lunch every day) Also have baked potatoes and beans for tea one night a week. Suspect if i cut those two things out i'd lose faster.

Seem to be struggling to get below 90kg, hovering around 90/91kg for last few weeks.

Will tighten up the diet a bit and see how it goes. Considering I was 98kg in February is still a good progress so far.

01/04/18 - 95.5kg
16/05/18 - 91.5kg
11/06/18 - 90.5kg

Well, after getting down to 14 st 7 at my lightest last year, kind of let things slip and was horrified to weigh 16.2, now there perhaps is some muscle included in that (I hope) as have been still going to the gym but things got out of kilter due to a rather stressful and drawn out redundancy.

Now in a new job and have made a start to get back to where I was, 15.13 today, think it should come off fairly quickly as know better what works nowadays, got a holiday booked in late August so just over two months, should be back under 15 by then.

Funny how I was mortified at 16.2, still way under the 18.2 that was my peak not that long ago.
