Exactly. By all means weigh yourself every day, but don't look for patterns every day. Compare today to this time last week and last month, never to yesterday.

Your body's own stores of glycogen are bound to about 3-4 times that much weight again in water, so as you deplete your glycogen reserves you lose the water too. If I break ketosis I put on 2kg again immediately, so I always keep in my head that my "true" weight is +2kg.

So, if you plan to use keto for weight loss but then return to more normal eating for maintenance, aim to overshoot your target weight by a few kg and you should settle back onto your target when the water is added on. Better still is just keep going and eventually set your goals based on measurements or photos, and not on the scales. This counts double if you add in exercise which bulks up your muscle mass. The scales become useless.

Thanks for the pointer.

I have dropped down to 95.6kg after a few days of watching my diet which is approximately 4kg lost in 15 days. I have 2 more weeks of it to go.

I will need to ensure I keep it clean and controlled after this period of time. Might be tricky as I'm off to canada for a week straight after. With all their good food there I'm going to struggle somewhat.
