Hello,

My partner needs to wake up with sunlight (artificial lights don't cut it) or feels dreadful and I need total blackout to sleep (so that I can't even see the wall on the other side of the room).

We've tried putting up a blackout blind and having me remove it when I get up to let the sunlight in, but that doesn't work for my partner (the morning sunlight is needed for much longer before waking up)

Apart from sleeping in seperate rooms does anyone have any ideas for solutions?

I have tried wearing an eye mask but they normally shift before sunrise and let light in around the nose bridge.

Thanks

You can get alarms that wake you up by gradually illuminating the room I think

They must get up really late in the winter.

Lunie sunrise lamps are useful. They use the same light spectrum as sunlight

You're incompatible with windows. Get yourself a nice opaque mac.

Set up a tent in the back garden for them.

Plenty of light first thing then.
