What’s the general consensus of the high street stuff from the likes of H&B? Weak? Overpriced? Both?

Wanting to know the same. I was looking at getting some today but refreshed my memory of this thread.

The high street chains have jumped on the band wagon and are touting CBD enhanced everything. When you look at the actual numbers, lots of them are right at the bottom of of additive levels.
The online specific sellers (proper labs rather than amazon et al) are the ones providing the highest levels of CBD in their products.

If in doubt, check the labels.

Just an update from me here, I ran out of my last bottle of CBD oil about a month ago and am slowly creeping back to how I was post oil and needing tablets (Neproxen etc.) a couple of times a week as well as generally having a few more aches and pains.

I am also not sleeping as well as I was on it. It certainly seems to look as though it does work for me, each time I go without it I seem to get bit worse.

I have bought another bottle and will start back on it over the weekend and see what happens.

Have you 'upped' the mg or stayed where you are?

I went straight in at 1200mg, upon which talking to a friend who works in a dispensary laughed at me and said i should have started at 100mg

I had 800mg / 8% strength from Love Hemp and I found the best dose was 3-4 drops under the tongue on a morning only. It seemed to be the sweet spot between helping with the aches and pains and not having too vivid a dreams. I don't think the dosage is an issue for me, more to do with me stopping taking it a few weeks ago. When I started it worked within 48 hours or so, hopefully same again although I am on 5% (from Amazing Green due to stock issues at Love Hemp) this time.

I'll update as I go along.

Mrs geeks takes two of these daily: https://www.hollandandbarrett.com/shop/product/nat...

She takes it for pain relief in her hips (Congenital Hip Dysplasia) and also what is the early signs of Arthritis, she swears by it and notices a big difference if she runs out. I know people slate the H&B stuff but it really does work for her! She also had the gummy bears from Love Hemp, they worked just as well but she didn't really like the taste so has gone back to the H&B stuff.

I have tried the CDB capsules from CDB Brothers and found them really helpful for my back pain, however they have regular stock issues so I am looking elsewhere at the moment.

It takes around 2 weeks for it to get into your system so I'd wait till you up the dosage
2 weeks? Doubtful

I'd guess no longer than 2 hours

i gave up tbh.

had a bottle of 1200mg. nothing noticeable
then went through 2 bottles of 2400mg all from provocan. was taking 5 drops at night and 5 in morning.

didn't notice any real difference, my whole body hurts tbh, mainly due to 2 damaged discs which to be fair are damaged so i don't imagine much will actually help except keeping moving (which i do).

Been taking jointace vitamins and while my backs still bad my tennis elbows seem quite a bit better. i have read that having deficiencies of certain vitamins can really cause issues.

Even naproxen doesnt make much difference, helps a bit but not much. For me moving up and down from as soon as i get up helps. Having a day off work causes me no end of issues as i end up sitting all day.

Not saying cbd doesnt work as for some the results appear significant but for me it wasn't much good.

Looks like it, I have used this website before and they are fine. Wait for a discount code though, aim for 20% at least.

The effects do vary wildly from person to person.

My partner had some home made CBD products for some pain relief after trying a range of commercial products that generally did nothing. She was suggested to take about half a tea spoon of the stuff, that did nothing. A teaspoon of it maybe did a little. Next batch that was made was a fair bit stronger. It definitely works too, although she tried it before a park run (to help out with her plantar fasciitis) and said that she felt like the first half the trees were coming for her. Feet felt fine for that period, after that ... back to the usual pain.

I have been looking back this thread but can't see anyone asking anything about CBD oil.

What are people thoughts on this product?

Personally I tried one which is being sold at a very well know supplement store and found it didn't make any difference.

After doing a bit of research it seems the CBD oil from this store is not pure enough or something along these lines but the pure is very expensive.

Is anyone actually taking it and finding any sort of benefit?
Dan Severn takes it, or sells it or something.

I started on Love Hemp (see previous comments) and then due to the lack of voucher codes my latest bottle is from Amazing Green. Both 'high end' retailers as much as you can get in this market. Both seem to work for me. The Amazing Green tastes a touch more neutral than the Love Hemp and gives me less lucid dreams if I take later in the day.

Naproxen has never worked for me. Try a Celecoxib derivative such as Celebrex. They're also NSAIDs (so don't send you loopy as a way of not caring about the pain), just super strength.
