I don't think so. They are, at best, food supplements at this time. Not medicines.
I thought you could get stronger stuff for valid reasons.

Since my last post I’ve been experimenting with various CBD oils over the past few months with varying success. Recently I’ve been ordering CBD oil from www.mypainaway.co.uk which is in another league completely.
At first I thought it was some dodgy website due to the payment methods, they sent a free sample and called asking how I was getting on, had I noticed a difference. I certainly had, I’ve reduced my injections and Im sleeping better than I have in the last twenty years.
I actually ordered more today and you can read my testimonial on their website.
Vape oil only?
I believe you can take severaldrops under your tongue but I vape it for quicker relief.

One of the testimonials from someone suggests they just take it orally.
Id be interested to know for sure too.

Ive found out that they will provide coconut oil for use orally if you dont want to vape.
Just request it on the form you fill out for the order.

I've just dropped them an email. Hopefully it'll help with my arthritis.
You should certainly notice a difference for the pain. It’s not a cure but beats injections and popping pills.

Their website looks very dubious.

I presume the fact that their oil has THC in it, and is illegal is why their payment methods are like that.

You’d also fall foul of the drug driving laws too. If you are going down the medicinal route, I’d stay clear of these “grey area” products.

The government has legalised CBD products under the guise of supplements as they have the psychoactive elements (THC) removed. They give no high, only the pain reducing qualities.

The products that contain both compounds are still under class b classification as far as the law is concerned regardless of what their website might state.

You might as well go and buy an 8th from some kids down the road, it’s cheaper.

I thought the same about the website! Their oil has 12% THC which isn’t legal at the moment in the UK. It won’t get you high but you certainly couldn’t drive after taking it. I vape it in the evenings before bed and I’m fine in the morning. The other benefit rather than smoking cannabis is that it doesn’t smell but you might be raiding the fridge during the night.

Indeed, but the reason patients are struggling to get supply via prescription is that none of the products talked about here have the data to support a Dr prescribing it (the Dr's don't trust them) and there are very few medicines derived from Cannabis.

Channel 4 did an interesting documentary. Not sure if it's still on catch-up.

Me and my dad have just started are own 'un-official' trials for CBD for cancer, he has brain cancer which is terminal they stopped treatment in Jan when they told him nothing else they can do given 4-5 months. My dad saw the article in the dailymail last week so giving ago, I ordered some from greenkindom.com wasn't cheap for the capsules vs the price of the same thing in Barrats health food, is some CBD better than others ? Greenkindom had a lot of CBD bud as well so I guessing the oil made from that ?

Tried 3 brands now

Provacan - which is quite a pleasant taste under the tongue but not sure if it had much effect

LoveCBD - horrible heavy taste, these make me feel relaxed but with a thick head

CBDbrothers - Blue - horrible taste again but felt quite uplifted

CBDbrothers - White - was similar to the LoveCBD

Im just not sure about cbd oil, a big part of me wonders if it is a bit of a placebo going on? Not to discredit those saying it works but as an ex heavy cannabis smoker (1oz+ per week for many years) i was always under the impression it was the thc which did the medicinal bit.

The oils for cancer are afaik nothing to do with cbd. The main one is 'rick simpson oil' which is specific cannabis strains made into this oil, afaik they are very high thc and the dose has to be raised over x amount of days as by all accounts it knocks the fk out of you! If a loved one or myself had cancer id be trying to find those strains to make my own as from speaking to people to buy it (illegaly) it sounds like it could be any old strain and not the effective ones.

I did buy some cbd vape juice which made no difference to me, i have 2 damaged discs, tennis elbow in both arms, body generally feels tired and worn, i also can suffer from some serious anxiety which without doubt stems from the heavy cannabis use! I would love to simply buy an oil which helped with the back pain and i think i might try it properly but im just not sure if its for real or not.

I am very happy to be schooled on it and what ive written above )apart from the rick simpson bit) may well be total bks.

Talk of sativa giving a high and indica knocking you down are true, but i thought it was the thc which gave those effects, some cannabis really does make you want to jump up and run around but the indicas do not, and thats what's predominantly supplied in the uk, they yield much more on smaller plants which isn't very good if its illegal, in holland you can go buy proper sativa! I would love to smoke it again but that heavy use and effective addiction ruined me tbh.

So does the oil actually relieve pain? proven on paper somewhere?

Too early to say I guess, I am very wary of the placebo effect with stuff like this.

But yes so far it will guarantee a good sleep and I am also running at a good pace again. Trouble is I am also experimenting with bone broth as well so who knows what is doing what.

I have used this :

600mg PROVACAN CBD Oil (6% Hemp derived Cannabidiol) - New & Improved Formula × 1

Only been using it for a couple of weeks, started off with the weaker one, seems OK so far, I try and take it a couple of times throughout the day.
Not sure if it helps as I'm already on tablets but generally been feeling really down for a while ! So anything that would help sort of thing..

I'll probably try the 2x strength one before I worry about if it works or not, these things can take time to kick in so I understand.
