Friday.

Spot on keep it up. Seeing change keeps you motivated. It helps to take some other measurements too other than the scales. Waist, neck, chest etc.

I'll start doing that. I notice my arse actually fits in the race seat in my E30 now! smile

That in itself is a achievement/milestone. It differs from person to person. For me when I drop a bit of timber e.g. a couple of stone I can fit back into a load more clothes that I hadn't been able to wear for a bit.

Keep us posted and remember it's a marathon and not a sprint, lots of evidence out there suggests one change at a time has a much higher chance of success and being stuck to in the long term than trying to change too much at one, small individual changes on a weekly or fortnightly basis to focus on.

Just a quick update as weighed in at 24st 12 today! smile (from 26st 7lb)

I'm pretty much eating variations on all the meals posted before and have made sure to keep a healthy eye on the portion size. As said previously, I can definitely see a difference in my size and I seem to find walking a little easier.

I still have a long way to go but feel just as motivated as I did at the start. I'm going to go back to daily posting here though, as I don't want my enthusiasm to diminish. smile

Well done Mark!

What's your goal or are you just taking it each day as it comes?

Ideally 17 or 18 stone but that's a long way off. It's nice that people are starting to notice I'm looking a little thinner. smile

Fantastic news OP! It is at this point that the dieter generally gets in the mind to up the exercise in order to help the process along. I realise that you have health issues so some exercises are limited but how about swimming or cycling? You'll find the weight comes off considerably quicker, taking load off your aching joints and making exercise easier.

Continue the good work.
