I have always been a night person and terrible in the morning.

My sleep arrangement is very poor, in bed at around 00:00 and alarm goes off at 04:15, snooze a couple of times and then up. Thankfully it's only Mon to Fri, then try catching up over the weekend, unless weekend working is on, in which case I'm well and truly drained.

I really must change my sleep habit.
wow. Do you need to get up that early?

Have always put myself around the 7 1/2 hours mark as being a good amount.

In the summer I balloon (though not much the last couple of years), so my sleep takes a hit, but I nap in the daytime to make it up.

We have 10 month old child, that only appears to need about 6 hours sleep a night, though she will have a couple of stints being up and playing as part of this. The health visitors tell us she needs more, she really doesn't. Putting her to bed at 8 just means she gets up at 2am...

I feel tired, but can cope. My wife really can't cope without sleep and gets very irritable, so I tend to take the LO downstairs at the weekend so my OH can have a bit more sleep - for my good rather than hers!
how long is she sleeping in the day?
Normally, One sleep of 1hr-1.5hrs, a second one of about 30minutes about half of the time. Some days she will only do a half hour in the day...

I start work at 06:00 and it's an hour drive to work.

I have had about 20 decent nights sleep in the last 3 1/2 years. I have a son that doesnt sleep well and a baby that is 6 months old, so of course does not sleep well. FML.

Pretty much this. Our 3.5 yr wakes up for one reason or another most nights and will then be up 6-6.30am, everyday. I can't remember the last full night of sleep I had. I'm knackered, my wife is knackered.

He's going away with Nanny and Grampy for a week at the beginning of October, the thought of going to bed without him here cannot come soon enough.

Normally in bed for 11.

Weekdays alarm is set for 06:30. Usually snooze it a couple of times. Haven't had a weekend lie in since the kids came along. Well maybe the odd one she. They've stopped at grandparents.

I usually have one night per week where I don't sleep very well. Too much going round in my head etc.

Best sleep I ever get is when away on training courses and staying in hotels!
