...Does anyone sleep on the floor?
Discussion
I've been contemplating similar for months.
Not taken the plunge yet though...

I've been sleeping on the floor for about 4 days now
I am sleeping on a duvet cover on carpet (there is no duvet in the cover so its as hard as I can get on carpet) - no problems so far- Felt a bit sort the first night but that is it.
Definitely makes a difference on the pillow as you are not sinking into a mattress - the head is higher.

Takes all sorts I guess.
I wouldn't get a wink of sleep. If I did I would be doubled over and blubbing the next day. I think I'd last about 3-4 minutes before experiencing a large amount of pain.
I've always found the idea of intentionally introducing intense pressure points deeply weird. Wouldn't you want to spread your weight across every part of a sleeping surface rather than a handful of square inches?
Guess not.

Do we need to spread out the pressure points though?
Perhaps if we are in pain from sleeping on a hard surface that suggests there is something wrong with the specific parts of the body...
The bits designed to concentrate pressure like your arse and feet have some custom built fat just for that. Perhaps if we are in pain from sleeping on a hard surface that suggests there is something wrong with the specific parts of the body...
If you thrive spending all night teetering on your hip and shoulder bones more power to you. I'd be a total wreck.
