PH Losers 2019 - Anyone want to join me?
Discussion
I have added myself. Cutting out some crap food and playing sports again seems to be working so far. I went super clean on food at the start but i felt like i was losing too much too quickly and wanted to hold some weapons back for further down the line when it gets tougher.

Medical done!
They didn't even mention my weight until i did.
They like it under 30, but they mentioned its out dated so they aren't too bothered by it. Passed everything else.
Blood pressure was a little high, but they put that down to nerves.
Going to treat myself to my first take away in God knows how long!

I'm still here but I'm hanging on to the wagon with a very thing piece of thread. I will be back on it shortly.
LOL, same here! 97.7kg this morning, given that I've had my eye massively off the ball for a few weeks, I'm actually happy with that.
Had a bit of a wake up call yesterday so I'm back on it from today.

Managed to persuade myself back onto the bike on Monday evening as I was leaving work, and it seems to be sticking...
Adding a 6 mile each way cycle is increasing my calorie burn by around 600-700 calories and so hopefully if I continue to make sure I am eating enough I will find myself continuing downward in weight.
Even though I have barely lost any weight in the last few weeks (93.7kg this morning from 99kg starting point), I am still losing fat as I can see my body shape changing by the week which is great as I it means more than the number on the scales.
Well done to all those hanging on/getting back on!

Does anyone have a favourite spot to put the scales ?
Ours are in the kitchen on a tiled floor and I’ve noticed occasionally if I put the scales over 2 tiles it’s 1kg less than if I put them on one tile .
I always weigh:Ours are in the kitchen on a tiled floor and I’ve noticed occasionally if I put the scales over 2 tiles it’s 1kg less than if I put them on one tile .
1) at the same time of day
2) with the same clothes on (approx - just pants)
3) after using the toilet
4) with the scales in the same place - a particular tile on the bathroom floor.
So after a few weeks of losing my way with weekends away (and a few too many cheat days) I'm back on it and down to 116kg, nearing 11kg YTD, still plenty to go before my 100kg goal however (September)
I also started the exercise component last night - a run, well trundle......interlaced with walking...- just under 3 miles in just over 30 minutes.....must improve this fitness lark!

That's not a bad time at all, I've been running at least twice a week since Jan 1st, when I was at 116.1kg... I'm now 107.1kg and last night I did 5k (just over 3 miles) in 36.55...I also started the exercise component last night - a run, well trundle......interlaced with walking...- just under 3 miles in just over 30 minutes.....must improve this fitness lark!
You're doing pretty well if you ask me, keep at it!

Run walking 3 miles in 30 mins is decent, that’s still ten min miles .I also started the exercise component last night - a run, well trundle......interlaced with walking...- just under 3 miles in just over 30 minutes.....must improve this fitness lark!
Advance notification from me: there won't be a report next Tuesday . Just wrapped up a night with the lads and several pints of beer, full 9" pizza, bag of chips and bowl of ice cream are all sat in my belly . Had a quick jump on the scales to see what damage I'm dealing with : 94.5 kg Probably best I gave next week's check-in a miss .
The worst part about it is that I'm bloated to fk, feel like I'm going to explode and generally feel absolutely st for it.

Went to my new gym today. So much better than PureGym. Quiet, lots of equipment (although only two bikes).
Started the Stronglifts program. First time I've done squats. Started on 30KG.
Also went on the treadmill. Started for a two minute walk to warm up. Then after the weights went on again to cool down...ended up going for a five minute run/jog at 10KPH. Upped it to 11KPH for a minute.
Impressed as I am not a runner at all!
Ive dropped my hours at one job massively whilst waiting for my job offer for a paid position, so now getting more time to myself so can spend more time at the gym .
Over 300Kg lost so far by the active members in the thread.
I'm back on it and watching the weight head south again, the gym I've kept up well but eating has been the problem for me.
Now my missus is on board with the healthy living our meals have become much better and for the most part we're following Slimming World recipes.
Need to get to 130Kg as a first goal (currently 134kg) then a small jump to the next target of 20 stone.

Lemming train - Fair play you're doing awesome!! Keep it up!
Bad week for me, managed to stay at the exact same weight this weekend following a 2 day stag-do last weekend of pints, gins, eating crap etc. (where I was nearly 2kg up by the monday)
Really strict week has got me back down to where I was previous - Concentrating on getting it back down now.
Does anyone else feel the lighter evenings are making it easier to not snack and eat rubbish?
